It also seems that the updated Water Aliens event crashes the game, at least it did for me using Windowed 1.02. I don't know what was changed in the event but as soon as I removed it the game started fine. ~SDC~

I was just browsing the Drengin.net page. Wow! I am impressed. It sounds like there is some really good stuff there. My membership will be sent in this evening. :) The Political Machine sounds excellent; I can't wait for that. My only complaint is that Stardock is keeping me away from Everquest! ~SDC~

I would say just give the computer players 3 equal chances to pick a result, purely at random. That way you never know how they will shift during a game. Though it seems to take a LOT of random events to make a shift. My alignment, in game, 99% of the time says Neutral, but when I submit it to the Metaverse it shows up as Chaotic Evil, True Evil, etc. ~SDC~

Freya, Not with Stardock Central. The only spot that I see Drengin.net is in the software area, where GalCiv updates are downloaded. I will try to find more references to it. ~SDC~

I'm not sure I understand. What is Drengin.net? Isn't that what I use in Stardock Central to download updates to GalCiv? I haven't paid for anything more than GalCiv. And is The Corporate Machine just an update of Entrepreneur? I have that and the bonus cards (though I probably don't have them anymore). ~SDC~

As far as I'm concerned, everything that has been allowed in the library thus far is considered "official", and does not constitute cheating. I have downloaded everything because they add to the diversity of the game, instead of getting the same old events all the time, etc. If Stardock decides that some of those mods aren't "official" then I guess that I will be banned, because I am not going to go to the trouble of removing files that I have already added to my game. If they didn't want us usi

That is correct. However, I discovered what it was a mean moments ago while reading the Mods forum. There was an error in an event from the library (a space where none was allowed). This was preventing my games from loading. ~SDC~

As of right now any saved games I try to load are crashing GalCiv after 100% is loaded. There's no confirmation that Smart Exception is actually sending anything to Stardock so I am posting it here: Stardock SmartException Logging Information ------------------------------------------- OS Version : Windows XP Video Card : NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 420 Application Exception code: C0000005 ACCESS_VIOLATION Crash Addr: 0052320A 01:0012220A C:\Program Files\Strat

Domestic elections are wacky. I've lost to the opposing party, and not only do I lose my bonuses, their boni are given to me as penalties, and are never reversed, even if I win subsequent elections. If they continue to win, the penalty is compounded. I can't believe that the duplicate trade good thing is still around. From this thread it looks like there are more bugs now than there were before! ~SDC~

Sorry, Frogboy, it's nothing personal, but sometimes I purposefully tell my ships to go outside of their range, just so that I can get another glimpse at the lovely Angelina. My girlfriend actually lusts after Angelina as much as I do. Now *that's* cool! ~SDC~
