Not likely to be the case, H50, judging by Frogboy's post above.
Oh, I know. I was just offering an alternative interpretation of the facts before us. If it is a bug, I've saved that EndGameSave so I can compare all 3 cases once the bug is fixed. ~SDC~

It definitely looks like something went wonky with the intended bonus to score for playing on a higher difficulty level. My latest game (Crippling, Small) scored 14520 with beta 2. I updated to beta 3 and then loaded the EndGameSave. Now my game scores 12980, roughly 10% less. Unless the bonus is that Maso stays the same and you now get progressively fewer points for each level below Maso. ~SDC~

Not much going on with this latest beta. CHANGES IN 1.09B[b].003: ***New/Replaced files*** English.str (replaced) ***Things of interest*** 1) Nothing. :) The changes to the English.str file consists of a) some typo cleanup b) support for turning on the Cheat keys c) sorting the Star list by Research output d) a new option to turn on/off the Improvement done popup e) error status messages, presumably for Metaverse submissions That

They all interact. Back in the day, BoogieBac said an event could move you a maximum of 10 alignment points. Personally, I've never seen that big of a good jump at one time, I've heard others claim that Evil choices can drop you farther than 10 in one pick. For the sake of argument, let's go with what the coder said. So you can move a maximum of 10 alignment points with each event. This is modified by the Morality Weight of the event, 1 = Major Event, 5 = Insignificant Eve
I just finished the colonization stage of a huge abundant. I took every single good choice presented to me. My alignment is 65.
I hate that when that happens. You'll find that events wherein you lose money for the Good choice are your most effective morality bumpers. ~SDC~
What's this then? Will it be OK with Metaverse? (I left a mod in on my last play, hence the anomolous!)
Playing with mods is not a guarantor of the dreaded Anomalous score. The only sure way I know of triggering it is having too high of a PQ rating. You may try to resubmit that Anomalous again, this has cleared it up for others. I play with many mods, including ones not posted in the Library. The only time I got in trouble was when I restored the two +10% PQ b

Theoden, I note that your bio is the only one to grace the Fellowship's roll call at present. Seeing as how I'm about 5 Jack and Coke's down right now, I figured there was no better time to type up a brief bio of my on-line persona. ;) A halfling hailing from the lush green hills of Waimanalo, HawaiiFive-O is an alchemist of some small skill.
So every event is equally likely to occur?
Yes.
Does adding more events decrease the probability of any individual event occurring?
This is the logical conclusion. I have about 150 events at this point, thus achieving my goal of rarely seeing the same event within the same game. There are events I've still never seen pop up for me, while others pop up semi-regularly for whatever reason. ~SDC~

Another shameless bump to keep this in SDC. Is no one actively modding this game anymore?

Structurally, they are sound. They will work as advertised. I don't like to add mods to my games midstream, as they can have unpredictable results if not installed from the start. One thing to keep in mind, raising your PQ level too much is a sure way to trigger an Anomalous reading from the Metaverse. For this reason I stay away from PQ bonus mods. I will play with them in my next test game and let you know what I think. Thanks for posting them to the Library! <BR

Wow, we are back on top! We're not flashy, but we sure get the job done. Thanks to Cotal for gracing us with her presence and her points. :) Incredible. I'm off to try and finish a game. What does happen when the irresistible force (GROSS) meets the immovable object (FOTR)? Stay tuned... ~SDC~
