Reply to Problems with cultural victory in 1.05? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I had the same problem in my last game ( vers 1.44) i had a 96% cultural victory but the count down would not start. Had to settle for alliance. ( also a very low score only 500, when i updated to 1.5 and reloaded the game, i got 9000+ on the end screen but it wouid not submit :/ .

Has anyone else noticed that the ANZAC's have 203252.1 total points, and are now in first place. !!! It seems Cataleptic now has a 158098 overall score With a submiting a Gigantic - Crippling win worth 257515 points today. Ah i see we now have help keeping our little thread up while us Mid-wester are working, playing with the dog, planing the take over of the metaverse, and such... "Save that game you're losing. Then when you only have 15 minutes or so to play at a time, load it up. You may be able to salvage something out of it. I think my video card is getting out-dated, because when i click on "show sectors influence" nothing changes on my mini-map. I have Geforce2 64 mb, i wonder if i need to changes some settings for Galciv, any body else had this problem/ know how to fix it? SoulWound MCW Member

Well, i'v finaly given up on my game. I turned off Tech win at the start wish i hadn't done that now. :( The Torian Drengin alliance is crushing me, i'v been fighting them for years but now in so much debt i am unable to kpe my worlds under my comtrol. Game Crashes in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

In my curren game when ever it comes time for me to research a new tech my game crashes ( just exits and goes to windows). I'v tried stoping my current tech research and research something else, that takes longer time, the game run with out a hitch. Until the time come when i need to research a new tech. i havent started a new game and see if everything goes fine, it's late will do that tommoro. I was wondering if the Dev's would like to take a look at this for me? SoulWound <BR
