. towers on high is maybe the only change from the default options that does not make much of a difference and that does not affect game balance.
Why wouldn't it? As part of balancing, each demigod is good at some things and bad at others. Taking down towers is one of those items on which everyone is balanced. Increasing the strength of towers accentuates this metric. Ergo, it changes the balance.

Others need to stop talking down to others.
High towers severely skews the balance of demigods IMO. Regulus wtf Oh, and please announce that you have towers on high to the new joiners. I can't stand finding out the hard way.
Well put.
hmm forcing one is not that hard, just yank your internet cable out.
You sure you don't just get disconnected from the match with no desynchs for the remaining players?
Not gonna lie; I gasped when I found no replays, no mod map maker, and limited skirmish options (> 2 teams, FFA?). I figured right then and there the game was going to get played out very fast... and I was right. I apologize; I hate contributing to doom and gloom threads as I think they only sink the boat faster.
While I don't agree that patches have been slow, the game is probably not in a great state right now, and those that argue it's currently healthy will probably be swayed when HoN and LoL are released.
- get more mana, - more heatlh means more priest healing means less damage from kiting - 4+ mana is not so much. Health will stack with priets. - More hp means you survive longer so more time to bat away. But really if you are in trouble as erebus you probably overextended yourself. - More hp means you can just walk out.>.>
Blood of the fallen: - Get more health
The developers denied that. They were stating that a player counts as online if they are logged in via Demigod and respond to a ping every 30 seconds.
Sounds like it counts players who opened the game via impulse but are playing SP...
P.P.S. Cloack of night is imho the worst item for erebus, just like anklet is. Youa lready have a teleport AND a slow(bite) why in gods name do you need even more speed. You won benefit from speed if you cant fight(ie without bof).
- because bat swarm is hella mana and it's not always clear you'll have enough left over for the bite; with cloak, it's free - because bat swarm starts at level 5 and regulus will start kit
I like the cloak. The extra mana-free warp combines well with my erebus's bite to really discourage kiting, and it gives passive mana benefits too. Why worry about movement speed from the anklet when a quick warp will put enough distance between you and the opponent to get you away most of the times? It's also nice because then I can bat swarm + bite kill to really get guys behind towers and still have another tp to get me out before I die.
Are we seriously pushing for another erebus nerf? [e digicons]:|[/e]
I think people may make their way to the top end +reinforcement upgrades after getting giants, and I think defenders often get a few extra points in towers, but that's about it from what I've seen...
Game is not balanced. TB/UB/Rook/Reg/Sedna/Oak/Erebus/QoT are all OP. The upcoming Demon Assassin guy also appears to be OP (wtf Demon Swap?)
Yeah, I don't think it would be a good idea to get demigod used. The key does get tied to your impulse account. From what I hear, Stardock is creating an application called "Impulse Marketplace" or something where you can digitally buy/sell games purchased via Impulse. I don't know the ETA or specifics on this, but it may be worth waiting for if it's coming soon. I would love to give you one of my $20 off coupons, but I think they expired days after I received them
Try to get your priests out of the gate and into the mid in exile with one click... I dare you.
oh come on; you can micro an assassin's pathing easily. The real problem comes when you have to account for your demigod's awful pathing AND each minions' awful pathing AND each minion's suicidal tendencies (particularly towards towers). Then you have a right to be frustrated. [e digicons]>:([/e] Thanks heavens I play erebus... shortest distance between two points is a TP.
Good question. I have NOT gotten RTM yet, but you make a good point. If you can go straight to RTM, then that would be the smart thing to do. I am assuming that you can just put in an activation Key when you purchase Windows 7 retail, just make sure when you install RTM, you install the version you plan on buying. So, Premium RTM==Premium Retail.
I'm pretty sure that since Vista microsoft has been putting all the code
I think it'd be more balanced if evolve had a 40 second cooldown.
It's one of the pokemon, most likely Snorlax.
map making guide coming soon in the next patch (or two)
What patterns have you observed?
