How about you just write a synopsis or copy/paste it the replies you're most proud of.
How about you take a networking class? Read the thread. CTRL+F my replies if you're so lazy; there aren't that many of my posts in there. To further save time, skip the nonsense about human reaction times; the person who mentioned it ultimately admitted it was off topic anyway.
Disagree. Where'd that magic number come from, btw? Why not choose "pings above 70 are more likely to lag the game." I'm sure that statement is even more valid based on your logic...
Yes. Pings above 70 are more likely to lag the game than pings even lower. ~150 is a decent lower bound for a "safe" threshhold. My logic is presented in this thread .
pings above 150 are more likely to lag the game. period. kthxbai.
ffs they've already nerfed erebus once, and no other demigod has been nerfed. He's my demigod of choice and if I get the nerf bat twice before anyone else does once I'm out the door (already halfway there).

All I want to reiterate is that, just as this game was not seemingly balanced over 1vs1 matchups, this game does not seem to have been balanced around allowing doubles. From a balance perspective, what should stack? Should UB spit stack i.e. is it currently balanced? If it didn't currently stack, would you say it was unbalanced then? Should regulus mines "stack" (so that two regs can have 12 mines as opposed to still being capped at 6 total?) If they didn't curre
not gonna lie; slurple makes me laugh.
Pointless thread is pointless. And yes, pointless post is pointless too. [e digicons][/e]
Whenever someone says "Demigod X is OP because he can beat Demigod Y 1vs1" the community replies that the game balance isn't centered around 1vs1 so this is fine. So why is it that people in this thread say doubles are fine? If Demigod X is OP against demigod Y, why wouldn't Demigod combo XX be overpowered against demigod combo YY?
This thread has satisfied my desire to watch some nerd-rage over who has the biggest e-peen. [e digicons]:dur:[/e]
This game needs karma implemented so we don't need these acknowledgment threads.
Quoting Milskidasith, reply 2Err... how is Erebus good against towers? He has minions, sure, but his actual DPS is pretty weak; Oak is probably a lot better against towers, I'd think. Erebus' minions take hit for him (retreat for a second if he is acquired by towe). Priests heal minions, and you, negating one hit or so every 8 seconds. Ultimately you can attack for a long time, and the dps of the minions adds together nice
I use the cloak of the night as a favor item, which is basically a warp stone with some mana bonuses. I play erebus. The warp is good for 1.) Teleporting in to close the gap to ranged units that run away (regulus+tb) to get a quick bite (nice because unlike bat swarm it doesn't take mana, so there's no chance of not having enough mana for the bite after the tp) 2.) Teleporting out of bad combat situations (it's not much distance, but creating any kind of distan
well then, forget this item.

Good thing I play erebus and my auto attacks doesn't account for crap of my damage anyway. [e digicons]\o/[/e]
I don't know Sly, ask the people that are writting "I'll vote-kick bad players". I would only kick cronic AFKers.
No, I'll ask you because you're the one that brought it up. If you want me to ask such players, it'll be your job to navigate me to such people, because I've never played with anyone dumb enough to think that kicking a new player and playing with an AI is going to help their chances of winning any.<
Makes sense to me... each person should report their own outcome?
Vote2Kick would be very useful for AKFers. But I'm concerened about abuse, I've already heard people saying that it would be great to kick bad/new players, man, there goes the new player base if that happens.
Explain to me why you would vote-kick a new player to be get an AI.
If someone goes to bed mid-match, my guess is that idle-kick may be of use there...
I'm a fan of this for erebus, since he tends to do combos that burn mana really fast (bat swarm + bite + sleep, imagine all that half off). I used this item even when HoL was cheap..
Way to shepherd the herd back towards the point in the OP, Goggris. [e digicons]:moo:[/e] [e digicons]:moo:[/e] [e digicons]:moo:[/e] [e digicons]:moo:[/e] [e digicons]:moo:[/e]
The publisher releases the product not the developer! The publisher pays the developers to fix the game.
This is one reason I say Stardock has kick-ass support. Even though it's really not their job to fix the game directly, they stepped in and allocated resources to help resolve the networking and some other issues. Not bad, no?
Wow... you people seriously think there are that many griefers in this game... seems pretty cynical. The only time I've seen anyone really go afk was before concede was implemented so that we could destroy their base more quickly when we had clearly won. Seemed fair enough to me. The problem with doing this is, unlike concede, you can go afk even if you're teammate isn't on-board that you've lost for sure yet. But meh; if one person on your team is basically going to co
