Honestly it's not that hard guys. There are really only two pieces of "goodies" that really matter and that's Stone Prisoner and Warden's Keep since they both add many hours to the gameplay. Stone Prisoner comes with every new copy of the game for *free*. Warden's Keep is a $7 DLC or free with the Digital Deluxe edition. Honestly, it's that simple. All the other stuff is just fluff that doesn't matter and is just marketing madness. Ignore it.

The more expensive one was the digital deluxe edition. I assume the chear digital one equals the regular version minus packaging?
As far as I know, correct. The "Regular" download is the same as the retail standard edition plus the online bonus items. The "Digital Delux

I find it really disturbing that they'd cut 10 hours out of a game. They didn't cut, they added. Big difference.
Exactly. It's like the Fallout 3 DLCs/expansions only available on launch day. Dragon Age was originally supposed to come out in March and the Stone Prisoner content wasn't ready in time
IIRC it contains Warden Keep, which is extra content. It is included with the more expensive box only. Buyers of the cheaper version will have to pay extra to play warden keep. Correct me if i'm wrong.
Warden's Keep is included in the Digital Deluxe edition only, because you don't get the tin and cloth map. If you buy the game box (regular or CE) at retail you'll need to pay $7 for Warden's Keep.

As for the Character Creator, it is awesome. Love being able to do this all ahead of time so it will be much faster to jump in. By the way, if you upload at least one character you create to the Bioware social site then on release day you'll get a bonus in game item for free, the Luck Ring which gives you +1 to all stats. Even better!

Different as in "Only With" the digital download pre-order? One of them is a Golem character that comes with all copies of the game but only for new purchases. If you

Longer beta sounds good to me. I don't really think an August release is that bad in terms of sales. In fact I don't think it really matters when it's released (in my opinion with no knowledge of such things). There just aren't many (any?) single player Civ/Gal Civ style games anymore so frankly, unless Civ 5 is coming out around the same time there really won't be a lot of competition for this *type* of game and I think it will sell well no matter when released.

I think you should be able to learn the basics of a game in less than an hour before moving on to playing the real deal. Just the basic concepts please, leave the rest to discovery.
It's not a true tutorial in a way. It's a true fully flesh

With Anno 1404 I could have done without the tutorial after about chapter 3 or so as by then I understood things like production chains and trade routes but it wasn't too annoying because they integrated the tutorial type hints into the story

I've seen other games that would do the first couple chapters as a tutorial and then you're on your own. Frogboy and the devs. Take a serious look at Anno 1404/Dawn of Discovery for inspiration on how to really do a great campaign that also acts as a tutorial. There is an 8 chapter campaign, took me about 20-25 hours to complete (I took my time a bit). It had a great story and had definable goals in each chapter. But it also acted as a great tutorial. You always got advice on what you needed to build or do to reach the goal. For example, in one chapter you

I'm trying to get caught up on things here as I'm putting Demigod off to the side for now so forgive me if this has been addressed already. - I believe it was stated before that there will be custom units such that as upgrades or more resources become available you can upgrade them. Like you have a Knight who with a horse becomes a calvary unit who with a magic sword becomes an Avenger and so forth. The question is, will there be a way to "save" these cust

I'd say take the battle to the Demigods. Seeing as it sounds like all 3 did minion builds they should be weaker early, especially if their minions are halfway across the map and not around themselves. So go attack them and if you get a couple kills they'll probably stop sending minions away and keep them close.

First thing I buy with Oak. Really helps you stay in lanes longer and can make the difference against another DG early without monks as during the battle all of a sudden you get healed 1500K just like that. Pent a couple times as they run and you may get an early kill
