It's similar to a tower defense type game. You choose your units, AI chooses them and you then just sit back and watch it play out. You can't control anything in battle. It's a good time waster game.

Note that I had this issue with 3B as well, just never got the time to get the crash reports. Basically I can't start a game. I get all the way thru selecting everything and it starts to create the world and "bong" (Windows error sound) and it's frozen, no error message. I can still move the mouse but can't bring up task manager, can't alt tab. Elemental background is still "playing", music is still going and the mouse still moves but I can't do anything else.

Well, decided against the Witcher. Played the Demo for about 2 hours last night (nice long demo by the way) and I just don't like the combat mechanics, it drives me nuts. Reminds me a bit of console type fighting where you have to time your clicks just right to get fight combo's and stuff. Just don't like it. I don't think I could do 80+ hours of that. I'll download the Gothic demo's and see if they are any better.

I've got The Witcher demo installed and it's taken me a while to get used to the fighting style I think I may have found my next purchase. And at 15% off thru the end of the day for any game on Impulse, I may have to do it by midnight. :) Thanks guys for the thoughts.

Looks like Gothic 3 GOTY is on sale for $9.99 and I'm looking for a "new" RPG. I've started playing Oblivion again but looking for something I haven't played before.
