Rules the AI should follow some rules. For all sane empires leaders the AI should never be declaring war against an opponent it doesn't have a higher power number advantage. Right now one of the indicators that is a good numbers is the overall strength number. This is listed in the main UI under that "Power" tab. Some combination of Military power could figure into that too. When the AI finds itself declared on then it should play the diplomacy game and try to get other empir
You are goddamn right. I wouldn't play on smaller maps either. Now answer my question are you running on a HDD or an SSD? SSDs will have alot faster load time, should also prevent the lag you might see during turns. I still have some interface lag in 1.02 but much minor vs 1.0. I didn't build it but was interested in helping you out if you want it. If I may ask if you are running 8 gig of ram. I don't think more RAM is going to help you. I think your
As your empire grows to be huge it isn't as engaging but that is the nature of diminishing returns. The AI simply can't keep you in check either which is why it feels that way in my opinion. It would be great if planets did not give you range bonuses and if they made you setup some logistical supply routes between star bases and shipyards. That would be as important as influence and slow the rate of unchecked expansion.
1.02 runs phenomenally better than 1.0 did. I have 32GB of Ram though. What exactly are you seeing for a stability issue? Crashing or just hangups? Are you running on a HDD or SSD or RAMDisk? Ok never mind about the Ram Disk...
-Wow troll much?
Every race in the game would surrender before Britain did in WWII, a credit to Britain. The surrendering should be a race trait, where some simply won't surrender and some will surrender pretty easily and why not with as many other traits as races have. The whole surrender to a stronger force is silly, it isn't like they are joining a confederation they are being assimilated or subjugated or whatever without the dominate race taking any hits for now ruling those assets and locations.<
Gotta hand it to you Marigoldran, it is too bad you weren't around in Beta to have them re-code some of these really lame deficiencies in the AI.

Thank you. Looking forward to it. I must say 1.02 plays much better than 1.0.
Its quite alright. I'll survive. Simply confirms my assertion that there is censorship here, and there, plenty of need to stifle real feedback and monitor dissent in the ranks. Feels rather Chineese or is that more North Korean? Hard to say exactly. Hence the situation with the game and how it springs forth as it has with the AI it has. Happy as you may be with it's launch and it indeed not all bad, it needs some work. Ban or slap all of us around here you want. Close threads
