A new forum for empire threads has been made. I think our emperor should do the honors on opening the official EU thread over there
Hmm...give the Devil an inch.... I was wondering....would it be possible to move existing empire threads to the new forum ?
This is great new. Thanks goes to T-man
He has been under cover for way to long...we need a visit from the Spymaster
Hey ....you talking to me...ma ma that guy is making fun of me :sniff!: tell him to stop ...but you still don't have a succesion game...ha ha we have something you don't have (damn i wanna be a child again, it was good times when i was able to win arguments this way LOL - have any of you tried the "mine is bigger than yours"-argument with the Mrs's - if not - don't )
Well i'm still at work over here, but tonight i'm going to a card game with one of the guys from the office....that will probably be fun...alot more fun than working :)
but the plane doesn't need to make it all the way BACK across the Atlantic! We just need it to make it off the ground over here.
LOL LOL LOL
Was that a gesture or .... :p No actually great work - especially the parts not involving EU members LOL
Hi Theo, don't listen to those guys....join the European Alliance, we have 5-6 members who posts everyday (in our forum http://euro.galciv.org/forums/index.php) and around 20 players who posts a game every second week. We have got a succession game going if you would want to join in on that http://euro.galciv.org/forums/index.php?s=07658a1f05aa5c10c8ee2b6c36154828&act=ST&f=4&t=69&st=30 So come join us http://www.galciv.com/metaverse/empires.asp?id=181 you know you want to :p
Hear, hear....he has been the master of this game for so long, he certainly deserves it
Aaberg got 60k on a huge with AP
I don't if its good or bad with this new difficulty level (it actually seems to be easier, becuase the risk of a runaway AI is less), but anyway i benifited from it - so i'm a happy camper :CONGRAT: Wild one - Great work on the GC (and thanks for writing me in)
It is alleged Aarberg asked if a transplant was necessary and if so could they replace it with a ski pole.
You know i get 20-30 mails a day te
Is it possible to hurt their moral by upping the taxes?
Yup. Raising taxes will hurt moral, but if your morale is above 100% (it doesn't show if it is). You can raise taxes untill moral starts going below 100%. But they main idea about having morale at 100% is to make sure population grows (6% at moral 100% and around 3% between 54-99%). Since you have maxed out population (100B) on all your planets having a high morale won't help you. Also notice that
Well i managed to submit my first game played on the AP-beta. It seems that another diffulty level has been created (becaused there are more AI's) : Suicidal. Anyway the fact that there is more civs, does seem to make the game more well-balance (the risk of one run away AI isn't as great). AP looks great so far, well back to work..
Cari, regarding End game CTD: I wasen't on-linr when the game ended i just tried again (while on-line) and bingo - no CTD. I will check if i can recreate the CTD (off-line) tonight. If so i will mail the save game
I played a game two days ago. Everything went fine but it CTD'ed once i had won. I figured that this was just a way to avoid submissions, but it looks as if that isn't the case. I have an Endgame save if that would be any good.
You destroy the entire system, sweet ...aint it
a peaceful planet with a Terror Star!
Yeah....well it wasn't so peacefull when the Drengin had the upperhand and were pumping out Dreadnoughts while i was stock with battleaxes :p they had it coming...bastards
ZZZZYeti, I'm sorry to hear about your bad experience, but i have i (and others can help you). http://files.galciv.org/mod_site_v2_002.htm The above link should take you to a fix for the "neutral" tech problem.
Techs I swap never appear
I'm not sure, why. The only reason i can think of would be if you don't have the prerequisites.
I buy ships and just lose the money.
I'm not sure i understand this problem, could you describe this i
I'm sorry for my lack of activity the last couple of days. Work has gone mad and it seems there is no stopping it :SURPRISED: It was a great idea about the succesion game, I will post my turn shortly.
GoblinCookie, i think thats actually pretty much the way it is (the only reason onr would get more points from a long game is that one would have reseach more tech's). I actually think that difference in score between a Tiny and a Gigantic is to big. In my experience it isn't much harder (if harder at all) to play Gigantic than it is to play Tiny, so right know you get rewarded basically because it takes longer time to play. I don't mind a small reward for choosing a large map, but righ
LOL LOL
spare booze
Geee...we would sure love to help, but i don't think there is such a thing as "spare booze", but allien porn...hmm i think i have got some issues of Drengin - Deep Space almost unused, i'll wrap them up and have them ready to go [Message Edited]
As soon as the Spec Ops leaves for 2 sec's their thread is hijacked, by FotR and Euro, could this be a secret alliance LOL If so the cover is really good (and of course nobody informed me, why don't they ever tell me anything :sniff!: ) [Message Edited]
If you have Drengin.net you can download the beta through Stardock Central (just check the "prelease" in the lower left corner of SDC and then it should show up).
If there is still room, I would like to join any of the teams
