It's OK, but nothing special. I may play through each mission once, or I might not. Actually, I'd been spending more time playing The Corporate Machine, which I had actually bought previously. I was disappointed that there weren't more upgrades (maps, markets, bugfixes). I find "must play entire game at ludicrous speed with no pausing" to be an interesting challenge. (at an easier difficulty, of course)

I upgraded to drengin.net, and noticed a few bugs as I was downloading the other games - "download and archive all" does not work properly. First, it only gets top-level items. That is, it will grab The Corporate Machine, but not the Cola Market. The second-level items get marked for download, but not actually downloaded. Second, if I do a "download and archive all", I still need to install separately. When I install after archiving, it should give me the option of installing from

If you are playing in windowed mode, and you don't have 16 bit color set, you should get a useful error message rather than nothing happening. (I've been playing Baldur's Gate II in windowed mode, which supports 32 bit color.)

Well, there is still an important piece of information missing: What other games is Stardock planning to release to drengin.net in the next year? - When is "The Policial Machine" going to be released? - What is the estimated release date for "Elemental", of which I've only seen a screenshot. ==== Speaking of upgrading to drengin.net, I was thinking of things that could be added to drengin.net, but wouldn't be much work. - a site that lists collection

You can check if you've tripped the "cheater" flag before investing too much time in the game. You "retire" but then don't submit the score. If your score is nonzero, you haven't been labelled a cheater yet. Really, the game should explicitly warn you when you trip the "cheater" flag, but I guess that would make things too easy for real cheaters.

I remember that bug being reported as fixed? Never tried it myself, though. Here's another bug: If you have a rally point with the "autofleet" order, if the rally point is not visible onscreen as ships arrive, the ships stop one square short of the rally point. If the rally point is visible onscreen, the rally point works fine.

It appears that the "starbases must be 3 sectors apart" is met with disapproval by many players. Perhaps this should be made optional? Do enemy starbases count towards the "3 sectors apart" limit? That can create awkward situations were you or the AI block each other from building starbases. How about putting in some more modules to make up for fewer starbases? I'd really like to get more than +50% trade. Actually, the trade model can use lots of improvement.

Scores are still incorrectly marked as Anomalous. I submitted a few games recently that were incorrectly marked as Anomalous. When something happens to disqualify your score, you should be immediately notified. I guess this would help cheaters, but the current situation is unfair for non-cheaters. I think I know what did it. I was playing tiny/rare/intelligent. I had Earth plus one other decent planet. I was taking technologists with max research and diplomacy. I was rese

No, it wouldn't kill the empire's score, because the scores are banded by month. If you had a player who wasn't very active in the current month, he could "take one for the team". It would only kill one player's score for one month.

Is this really an accomplishment? Someone could always just start a game and then retire immediately. If it was someone who didn't plan on submitting any real scores that month, then they wouldn't be trashing their ranking.

Trade Center Max out the trade starbases in each sector along your trade routes. You really need vertical or horizontal trade routes for this. Unfortunately, this won't work as well in 1.11, as starbases per sector will be limited. But there's always Trade Terror Stars! (I wonder if that will work: you can build starbases only in certain locations, but Terror Stars are unrestricted.) This works best in conjuction with "buff the minor", putting all your trade routes with tha

I think this flaw was fixed in 1.1. An eliminated civ no longer pays tribute past its elimination. Someone should doublecheck this, though.
