i got X-com terror from the deep to run on Win2000Pro, but the game was running way too fast. by the time you move your mouse over to command a sub to intercept a sub, the sub is long gone. i dont recalling the game crashing or anything, it was just the speed of the gameplay, and i couldnt get any sound ether.

i hate it when the computer does that, makes me wonder if he is going to attack me, or just sit there. the worst is that the Yor just found 100 corvettes from the precursers, and they parked all 100 of them right beside one of my planets and they wont move them! i should set up a tow-away zone there ;)

i downloaded the LSN, but i doesnt really appeal to me. it is kinda like the combat section of X-com, but i still kinda miss managing the soilders backpacks and whatnot. i also miss the base, research and build management. i do have to say it is a good game, but its not really my preference.

no, dont think so, unless the author made the illuminati into sorcerers in that novel. the illuminati from what i understand, are (or were) supposed to be a secret society that controlled society secretly through the government and church, and any other social institution. i read someplace that they were the real cause behind the French Revolution, but i dont believe that.

Diablo 2 holds the record for the best all-time selling computer game. i dont remember the number of copies sold, but i do remember reading it in the guiness book of world records just past christmas holidays (whatever year was last published then). they have came out with several other excellent selling games -just think of how many people who own GalCiv also probably have a Warcraft 2. The price for LSN is in US$: $7 for 1 month ($7*12=$84!) $15 for 3 months ($1

i think picking the planet quality bonus is a very wise choice. with it, you can colonize the level 12, 13, and 14 quality planets, and bring it up to atleast level 15. the AI's ignore anything under 15, so with this bonus, you can always find planets to colonize deep in the AI's territory. i only wished i picked this bonus in the first few games i played.

i liked the ship designe in SE3, but i think its too late add it into GalCiv. the research tree would have to be re-done, the AI would have to be modified, and the userinterface would also have to be redone to accomidate ship customization. for a future GalCiv2, it would be more appropriate to add it on, but not for this one, it would require an enormous amount of work.

look, if you want responses, just say that you are a college or university student. say that your are making a freeware game for a school project, or to simply test your programmin skills that you learned. asking what to put in the game is too broad of a question too, almost impossible to get people interested in answering it since there is so many things to type. narrow your question down a bit.

i cant find that one alchemy site, was really unusual. was photos and direction on how to make some potion. had pictures of some guy with a table with all the flasks, tubs and burners to make some kinda yellow liquid - and the site was serious. i came across the site clicking on the links from some illuminati page a few weeks ago, but i cant find it anymore. that site was definatly one of the most unusual that i ever came across from all the years i been surfing the net. i wonder if

"the illuminatus" is where i first read about the conspiracy thing, it was a big funny, sci-fiction novel with bits of politics and conspiracy in it. i never finished the book, i only made it halfway before i lost interest. its been a few years, so i might try re-reading it, maybe this time i will be interested in it. have you checked out the "serious" illuminati web pages? very weird. also came across some alchemy sites about some "fermented metalic medicine" for some kinda religiou

i want to try that Laser Squad Nemesis thing out, but i dont like the idea that you gotta keep paying a membership to play. they should have set it up that you pay for it once, and you can play as much online for free afterwards. kinda like what blizzard did with Diablo 2, where you pay for the game once (unless you are getting the expansion pack, damn blizzard! that should be free!) and you get unlimited free online multiplayer gaming on blizzard.net. paying monthly for a game just doesnt ap

HairytheTaco ask Bobo for more information. HairytheTaco is not familier with "incubation", "Soldiers at war" and "chaos gate". HairytheTaco ask Bobo to tell HairytheTaco more about those games Boba talk about. LOL well anyways, i too have to think that the first 2 X-Coms are still my favorite games ever. i only wish that they could handle being installed and played on a newer computer. i havent came across any games yet similiar to them yet. HOWEVER, i did read a review fo

a fnord is more or less something that was made up by crack conspericy believers (i think). just type in 'fnord' in a search engine and you will get a ton of joke sites, such as "If a tree were to fall in the forest, and no one was around to hear it. What would it sound like?" answer: "fnord". ;)
