if there isnt an "evil-only" empire, would anyone be interested in starting one? if someone starts one, i probably will join, as long as the logo or the name isnt stupid. i might start up one myself when i get my overall morality from neutral to evil if no one makes an empire like that by then. thats weird, i never had any problems like that from not spending money on espionage. i usually forget about putting any money in espionage in a lot of my games. i only remember about the espionage slider thingy when i try to find out stats on another major, and when i see there is no information -thats when i remember i didnt put any money into it.

just wondering, is there an empire out there someplace where the only thing required for membership is that you have to be Evil? im talking about an empire where you actually get kicked out if your overall morality is not evil. Im considering joining an empire like that once i get my overall morality from "neutral" to "chaotic evil", which should happen once i finish and submit the game im working on right now. however, im not sure if there is an empire like that out there.

Im just wondering, are some of the AI's more loyal then others? when i start a game, i always try to determine what my future alignment will be, and as a result, who will be my trade partners. one thing thing that i have noticed is that some of the AI's are more loyal then others. i try to stick my trading to the AI's who i believe will not declare war on me, and as a result ruin my mature trade routes. from my games, i have found that the Torians are probably the most loyal

i had a game like that, i was doing fine until the alterians declared war on me, and i started loosing money -i had to end that game, i couldnt recover. turned out that in that game, i was doing all of my trade with the alterians, and when they declared war with me, i lost all my trade routes. also, since i was kinda blocked in by the alterians, no other race was tradeing with me. the money i was getting from my mature trade routes with the alterians were pretty much financing my empi

Out of the 5 AI's, the Altarians are the ones that usually give me the most trouble -especially if i play neutral or evil. They usually wage war with me very early in the game, and not only that, they have the money to keep the war going for many, many turns. im finding that it is very hard to sue for peace with the altarians compared to the other AI's. In the game i am in right now, im just barely in 1st place, with the Altarians in a close behind me in 2nd -the Altarians however sti

i have to agree, the yor usually take the backseat in my games. i never really had a problem with them, usually one of the empires that i ignore in the game until later. i find the arceans are just anoying, especially if they are right beside you. they tend to build starbases like crazy, and not only that, they dont stick to their own territory, they do it right in the middle of your sectors. The altarians are the ones that give me the most trouble, especially if i play evi

i had both the prison and the zoo escape. what i did, since when both times that it happened it was early in the game, and i had only corvettes and frigates at the time, i just left them alone. i just moved any ships that where nearby, even those protecting planets. both the space sharks and prisoner ships left me alone, instead they sailed to a nearby AI's planet and wrecked havok there. The AI's eventually destroyed them -but with great loss.

anyone know how your overall alignment gets calculated in the metaverse? i mean not in one game, but for your total alignment from all the games you submit. is each game weighed differently based on score? or is each game weighed the same when your overall alignment gets calcualated?

i think his name was Serg, or Sergy, or something similar. You know, the guy that him and Staffa would allways be in first and second place in the metaverse. He had a huge number of games under his belt. I just noticed that i havent seen his score on the metaverse anymore, and i havent seen his posts on the forum anymore also.

what i dont like about tradeing for ships is if they are out of range. i tried buying a drengin colony ship that just made it to the opposit corner of the map from me, and it was just about to colonize a planet. i succesfully bought the ship, but i couldnt colonize that planet! it was out of range!
