"Go Pher" ... "Din Go" You know, if you crossbreed them, you could end up with a "dingopher". Just imagine what that would be like.... I got air, but only because I chose the options that were least offensive to my sensibilities. Many of the questions had no good answers.

What are you, some kind of Luddite?? "Go outside"... how archaic! Why on earth would I want to leave my computer just to check the local atmospheric conditions?
So now I'm triple-posting, which is bad since I don't have an answer to mig's most recent riddle, but since I did answer trina_p's riddle (correctly, I might add, if a bit verbosely and perhaps trying to show off a little too much ) I thought I should post a new riddle myself. Here's one I just made up: For my first you must take one less than strange, then sometime
... In other words, It didn't have the letter 'E' anywhere in it.
My prior post which had information about a 'lipogram' was itself a lipogram, as is this post and also trina_p's original post: it avoids using that fifth symbol of our alpha glyphs.
trina_p, what is laid out in your post is known as a lipogram. This class of inscription is a form that avoids a common glyph, such as that fifth symbol (that lists post-'D'). It is difficult to do such a thing, as this post can avow.
I'm going for "Roof", although I'm not sure how the second line fits. Perhaps in the context of jumping off the roof. Anyway, for 1), roof above you = dry. for 3), Raising the Roof = having a party. and for 4), A roof has its angle of pitch as one of its most important design elements. So I hope I'm right. (and I'm still hoping for feedback on my explanation
Glad you liked it. Though it does kind of make one wish that there were more options for rating a comment, doesn't it.... Heck, there have been some times I've wished "Trolling" were an option on the main blog entry, not just on a comment.
There once were two poo-flinging squirrels; At all strangers they'd chuck their brown pearls. Dharma mentioned these critters Not because they're such shitters, but to see what she gets for referrals.
1/ Fetish? No. 2/ Women->Size? Many are probably influenced by it to a significant degree regardless of what they say about it. 3/ fe-mail? Probably because you got put on a fetish mailing list by a woman who was not impressed by the size of your uncircumsized penis and wanted revenge after discovering you were going to dump her for another girl. 4/ Circumcision? Neutral. Haven't really looked the pros and cons. Probably won't e

We haven't even really been on a proper grocery expedition since this whole thing started! Our coupon sorter is starting to overflow. It will definitely be good to have a real refrigerator again.
I know that one. I'll let mig take first crack at it, though.
I've gone without a fridge for 4 weeks now! Isn't that exciting?
Well! I am happy to say that my real estate agent was on top of things when we bought the house, because in going through our papers I came across a notarized bill of sale detailing the fact that I bought all the kitchen appliances from this Tim fellow. So Ann, Krystal and I traipsed off, papers in hand, to the local appliance store (which was in fact a Factory Outlet where the repair center was based; I misunderstood when I was thinking I could jus
I'm giving this a bump because I want more people to send in lines. Or even for the same people who've sent me some to send in another one. I'll post a new poem on Monday, regardless. C'mon, you can do it! Contribute to the Exquisite Corpse!
You may have read my two articles so far about my refrigerator tribulations ( here and here ). Basic story: a month ago my fridge broke, new compressor had to be ordered, repair person didn't show up when they we
I'd just suggest "See the walls come down between us?" instead of "around us". Leave "around" in the very first instance ("crashing down around us"), though.
Actually, the link you provided was to an HTML page; I just opened the page source and copy/pasted the table from there instead of copy/pasting from the browser window directly. Don't know why there's that big chunk of whitespace at the top, though.
I think a good line for you to use after he says "I don't date friends" would be "Well, if that's the way you feel about it, I don't want to be your friend anymore. ... So, what are you doing Friday night?"

So why do these Westerners with an ounce of sense slam the whole Islamic faith rather than the small branch of Radical Islam? Well, first of all, apparently I should have said "a few small branches", as there are indeed several of them. Secondly, they slam Islam as a whole because Islam as a whole appe
I'm sure I've got snog, chuffed, rip-snorter, and drongo right (kiss, excited, hilarious, silly). "Punched On" I'm not sure of, I'd probably go for the 50/50 here and end up with "opened a bottle". "frog and toad" is clearly rhyming slang for "road", I'm surprised you even gave the rhyming part, so it's "get moving." "done a stevo"--outright guess on this one, I'm thinking probably it's to give up
