I've always liked "Ignatius" or "Poindexter" for small dogs. Of course, that's largely because I don't like the small dogs themselves.

You are correct, trina! "Odysseus" it is. Having pondered it further, I submit "zipper" as my new guess for your riddle.
trina, the "hobbit" riddle is not a "clues-to-the-syllables"-style riddle like mine. I'll guess, for your new riddle, "teeth" or "a mouth".
Gideon, you must have glossed over my post (#9)....
That's not evil, TW. ... Evil would be if you bought TWO copies, kept one pristine in its shrink-wrap for him, played the other one like heck until you were pretty darn good at it, gave him the unopened copy when he came back and innocently said "can I play it with you?", and then kicked his butt mercilessly while maintaining your air of guileless beginner's luck.
Pseudoephedrine! (brand name: Sudafed)
Ack! That has the ring of a correct answer for the riddle, but I'd blast the police for their lousy detective work if they arrested someone based on that flimsy evidence. What if I say it was the sister, because fruit doesn't grow in a garden, but an orchard?
Well, others may not have read it. On the other hand, now they know where to go for some answers. Ah, yes. The forgotten F sentence. A classic. (a little spoiler space....) There are 6. Lots of people miss one or more of the F's in "of" because of it being pronounced as a 'v'.
I would have to say I think we have a pretty good line in the sand on who gets to vote (anybody but convicted felons). If we start limiting people based on their mental conditions, soon there will be a whole cottage industry devoted to trying to decide which mental conditions are severe enough to get you disenfranchised, and another cottage industry of people trying to get other people declared non compos mentis in order to sway the political b
Why oh why do we feel that a learning experience needs to be hard...painful..... for it to have any effect on us It doesn't NEED to be hard and painful, but the teen years in particular are going to be hard and painful pretty much no matter what. Yes, of course we as parents should do all we can to hel

Let's see, there's also: You love doughnuts. You enjoy telling people what to do. You're looking to start a collection of bad excuses and obvious lies. You like being exposed to the scum of society. You can't wait to take advantage of the opportunities to go on the take. You don't mind being accused of brutality and excessive violence when you did as much as possible to avoid hurting someone. Trina, that's correct; a word that has essentially the same meaning. Crusaders, as I said, I did read "The Hobbit", and since that one in particular is a high point of the "Riddles in the Dark" chapter, I haven't forgotten it. I'll let someone else have first go at it, though.
Yeah, I like "Photo" as an answer, even if it's wrong. Trina, for a hint on mine, you don't want "strange" itself but a synonym.
Well, for Unsolved #1, I'm going to go with "Wind." (Yes, I've read "The Hobbit".) Gotta work some more on the other two....
More of me?? heavens, no! I am unique, just like everyone else is. But I do have two brothers and a sister. My older brother, who is invariably the one I mean when I say merely "my brother", is equally brilliant in his own way. (My little brother is also smart as a whip (whatever that really means...) but doesn't show it off as well, at least not around me. And my (younger) sister
Well, I'm glad it made sense for you. I'm always happy to tell other people what they're thinking. contribute to the Exquisite Corpse!
People want it both ways- they don't want the government to have information, or to step on a few "rights", yet they will blame the government if they didn't "protect" them. Which is more important? Our rights are more important, of course.
"The other person must be a close family member. Sorry, but we don't want you bringing Adolf Hitler or someone else evil like him back". But what if I'm Mussolini's grandson? I want my gramps back! He was always nice to me! And even if I'm not Mussolini's grandson, what makes them think my br
mig, you need to add "opidion" to your cranky dictionary!
I am nowhere near being able to join the "hated daddys club" yet (whew!), but I do have a friend with a six-year-old girl and a two-year-old boy. The boy is still in the 2-to-3-word sentences phase, but apparently one of the things he will do (and oh, I wish you could hear the inflections on this!) when his daddy does something "bad" is, he'll go to his mom crying "Mommy, Mommy Mommy!!" all anxious and needy, then point to his dad and say "... Daddy.
Okay, so I'm curious... what did you think of my interpretation? any validity to it at all??
You've gotta call to complain! Let 'em hear just how disgusted you are with their stinky, rotting hotel. And don't accept a voucher for a free night's stay, either!
But they should be.....for every child .... Why?? Childhood itself (perhaps 3-12) should be one of the best chunks of your life, being happy, having fun, protected from the world. Teen years are for maturing, which is never an easy process and should not be sugar-coated out of some misguided desire to
