This is possible as well, yes.

Stardock plans to put up the rest of the files at 3pm EST, this is 21:00 h in Stockholm. (both on the 21st February of course)
Starbases only help your freighters and those of your allies in case the special UP event for that has been accepted. I think the system of increasing trade income while the freighters travels should be changed perhaps, it's the right thing that longer trade routes give more money, but why does the income increase while it's travelling? I don't think they're actually sending money back every turn...?!
The database seems to have thought it had part of the day off. Better today than on Tuesday.
Yep, but it'd better show up pretty fast, we're not going to waste time with it after Tuesday 3pm.
You can mod the logos, if I'm not mistaken.
You can disband ships (both in GC1 and 2), in GC2 you even get a little money back. That should do it, right? On a personal note, I think I never got a ship as a gift.
It's still the same as in GC1.
Yes, you can buy and download it here, and I think if you're doing it on Monday you're not too late for a "pre"-order.
Has this change been implemented since the last beta (ie in the gama version)? Yes. (defensive only pact)
I'm sure it'll be okay, Dracil!
Everytime someone asks the question, the responding post gets like 50% shorter. Can it be shorter than "3/06"?
Fantastic, that was one of the biggest annoyances to me in the first one. Huh? Resources are static both in GC1 and 2. Anomalies respawn (slowly) both in GC1 and 2.
Trying to concentrate on all that Java and Web Engineering stuff for my exams, trying to make reasonable plans on how much to play GalCiv 2 before these exams (both with somewhat limited success ), browsing the forums, hanging around in the channels, advancing bit by bit in Tolstoi's War and Peace, killing time in general, ...
Has the AI in GC2 been configured to "make mistakes" ? On the lower levels, yes.
Yes, I hope as well that it'll be working as described in the manual in the end. Makes perfect sense, and would be annoying if not.
Right now, social production is still "wasted" but military spending simply isn't deducted from your treasury. Huh? The manual states on page 30 that "Social production, represented by hammes, is spent on projects. If you have no projects queued, the number above the hammers will be in parenthesis. In
Did you download them? Note that you can expand the GalCiv 2 item in Stardock Central using the small "+" button to its left. Then you'll find the tutorials, movies and multimedia. Having done so, you'll be able to view them with a .bik viewer just as Geckomind explained.
take wednesday of? So tempting.... For your own sake, do it! (like you would stop playing early to get enough sleep - must...play...one...more...turn... )
God I hope that doesn't happen too often that used to annoy the hell out of me in galciv1. Imagine at the end of WW2 if the nazi's surrendered to the Mongolians! As if it would ever happen I share your concern, we'll see about that in the release version.
No Tactical.
There's another example here: Link (don't think it has been linked otherwise yet)
You can't group your ships with the small freighters AFAIK, but I think there is a proposal for the United Planets to protect freighters and you can build a wonder (or was it a super project?) that does the same.
Can't take this "discussion" serious anymore. Tactical combat isn't in the game, for good reasons, and it will almost sure never be in. If some people don't get this point - having played the game not even a single time - then so be it.
The hope to die last??? "Die Hoffnung stirbt zuletzt" means "Hope dies last".
