Use the "build" button for constructors or simply press "b".

HOMM5. Was I looking forward to it? You bet. DId it look ike a winner? I think so. Am I going to buy it. No way... Same for me. I removed that Starforce crap having played "D-Day" a bit (a friend of mine gave it to me, it wouldn't run on his machine) and I won't buy Heroes of Starforce V for this reason. I'

"One of the best games ever?" - Yes!
No, I don't.
I have to say I never use the side scrolling in Gal Civ. Same for me - side scrolling seems so "last century" now.
Yes, auto-moving sometimes doesn't take the shortest way to a given target. That's why I don't trust it when things are important. (Btw, your picture can only be seen when logged in at Apolyton.)
Note that all "special" invasions don't affect the planet in case the invasion fails: Planet quality isn't reduced, no improvements are destroyed and so on. I guess that adding the number back to the population is another aspect of the same "feature". (Yes, it's intentional AFAIK - even though it is unrealistic and exploitable.)
Trade (along with a couple of other techs) isn't available in the first campaign missions.
Very good review, the only caveats are: Tech tree is a bit dull at times (which is not that untrue), and no multiplayer (again).
I'd like to change that there is quite a number of techs that don't change anything, they're only a prerequisite for one other tech. It doesn't have to be much, just adding little things like "+10% hitpoints" to "Superiors Hulls" (which does nothing on its own) would give the system a bit more flavour.
I hope that good sales figures will improve the chance of a real multiplayer function to be added.
Yup, I'd like to see that changed, too. Setting the planet to focus on military production or research is - unnecessary micromanagement - saves only about half of the wasted money
Thanks for the information - we're doing our best at convincing people to buy the game, btw. Looking forward to see some sales figures in the future, I was always interested in these, but many developers / publishers seem to treat them like important business secrets - which I don't understand.
Wow, it sounds like a huge job to implement even some of the suggestions in the linked thread. Well, nevermind - as long as MY ideas are implemented! The update plans sound good, keep it coming!
This should definitely be stickified or brought to attention somehow.

Perhaps a "Fight to the death" option could be added, as a game option? I'd welcome that.
Good to hear you're surrounded by great folks. It's that kind of "location factor" that makes (or breaks) things.
Congrats Stardock! It's not like every TBS game could have done this - it had to be a really good one! I don't agree on one thing though: Incidentally, the other PC game on the list is also a strategy game. It
Bugs and issues I encountered: I usually get an extra turn when (re)loading a game. I can move all my ships (they show like 5 of 0 moves), then I hit the turn button, the date doesn't advance, nothing is produced, the AI doesn't move, and I can begin a normal turn (moving all ships included). (this is probably related to #30) When (re)loading, I often have a lot of ships on auto-pilot to the "southern" corner of the map. Only idle
