How do you use the maps included in Altarian Prophecy? in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I know that they included some maps with the latest build I was just wondering how to use them cause I was looking at them with the map editor and wanted to try them out.

I'm not complaining I was wondering if anything similiar to this had happened to anyone and now that I found out from someone it set me straight. :)

I was playing a game on a easy setting not super easy and with two evil races and 3 nice races. Two of the major races later on in the game surrendered to the others cause they only had one planet but the other got wiped out and conquered by the I-league minor race. I have no idea why they attacked them, I guess it has to do with the ai beefed up with the new patch but I won the game by being the only survivor. The minor race did all the work for me and I didn't even bribe them or anything.

Hi all. I haven't posted in here for a long time but anyway I was wonder if I could get peoples opinion on the good settings to play the game. The settings I'm talking about are like you civ's abilities, map size, ai settings, the whole nine yards. I've been playing the same way for awhile and I wanted to try something new, fun and challenging. Your suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I think I may have found a bug. I am playing a game with all the computers ai levels on bright 2 evil civs 3 good civs. I start researching the industial theory and in my next turn or so some how the tech that lets you build a banking center is finished researched?? I didn't even start researching the communications theory?

How to make a fleet in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I haven't actually tried to do it, I usually just do it one ship at a time but how do u make a fleet.

Does anyone know when you can download patch 1.04 seperately without stardock? I play the game on another computer cause it's better.

Hi all this is my first post. So far I like this game alot even more then Masters of Orion 3. Much easier. Anyways I was just playing when this came up. It was the begining of the game and I had not had any contact with the other races. After a couple of turns the special event,the one saying you insult the race while you were meeting them came up. Suddenly I was at war with a race I had not even meet or seen yet. Can it happen like that?
