Friendly isn't good enough. 'Close' is what you need. ~SDC~
SuChiUomizu
The race you want to ally with needs it too, and you need to have close relations. ~SDC~
Last time someone asked Carielf said there wasn't a date yet, there still may not be. ~SDC~
This is the wrong forum, this is for the galactic civilizations game. ~SDC~
I've got to ask just to clarify it for myself, Technician, and please don't take this the wrong way - are you an employee of Stardock?
He wouldn't have the rank of citizen if he was. Stardock employees have their own ranks; Senator, Governor and Avatar being what I've seen so far. And they have a Stardock icon at the bottom of their posts. ~SDC~ [Message Edited]
You have to do the backup achive manually with each version you want. If you didn't theres really no way of going back. ~SDC~
You can set your science rate at whatever you want, just as a tradeoff between military, science and social production. ~SDC~
Also I'm not sure wether this is true or not, but the race you want the alliance with may need to have the Alliance technology too. ~SDC~
This is the wrong forum. This is for the Galactic Civilizations game. ~SDC~
Think I found a bug. Traded with a minor race, which had developed Diplomatic Translators, I offered them peace, after smacking them around, in order to get their it, they accepted. But in future trades with other civilizations, I don't seem to have the Translators, I checked with the minor race that had it, and they don't have them either.
You have to build a trade good to be able to trade it. The builder has a monopoly, you only have a licence to use it to get the bene
Dowload and install stardock central, click the software tab. Highlight Galactic civilzations then click the history link. ~SDC~
Yes the bonus pack is now included with the game starting with 1.2 ~SDC~
I haven't ever tried this, but I wonder how well it would work - if you can't afford to trade for stuff, offer to pay lots of money over time to the minor, get whatever it is you are trading for and then invade and wipe them out so you don't have to pay for it anymore.
From what I understand Stardock decided to force you to pay everything off even after a race is dead specifically to prevent a player from doing this. ~SDC~
Theres a problem on your end if you can't, I clicked on your name to test it and saw all of the normal information. ~SDC~
You may have to click 'Check for application updates' under tools in Stardock Central. It doesn't always show the newest version if you don't. ~SDC~
Is it available yet for those who preordered?
This is the regular game, not Altarian Prophecy. ~SDC~
It's the first expansion, it's part of every version from 1.1 on. And yes you have to buy the coming expansion as part of Drengin.net or seperatly. ~SDC~
There was a typo in my earlier post I wasn't thinking and had just read the announcemnet about it which also had a typo. 1.2 has the achiement not 2.0, 1.2 is up on Stardock. ~SDC~
A couple of things I would like to see, if possible, are to be able to increase logistics ability (or to decrease logistics cost within some number of parsecs from a colonized planet), and I would also like to be able to earn some interest on money in the bank. Maybe that could be an ability.
Frogboy said in version 2.0 there would be an achievment that reduces cost by 25%, and 2.0 just went up on Stardock Central. ~SDC~ [Message Edited]
On the starbases: The AIs often build two bases in my games, one on the resource field, and one directly next to it. I know that someone here has already mentioned this.
Yes, its not a bug if one of them is a resource. Thats an exception to the rule. ~SDC~
From what I remember reading before logisitcs improvements aren't in the game yet, and will be in a later version. ~SDC~
I reckon you cannot roll back a update once you have done it. Nor can you reinstall from CD and apply patches up to a given point, at least not through stardock.
Actually you can if you manually make a backup through archive and restore, but Stardock Central won't do it automatically for you. ~SDC~
I believe you can't improve it yet, improvements will be in a later version ~SDC~
This is the wrong forum. This is for the Galacic Civilzations game, try one of the WC forums. ~SDC~
What Im wondering is, what techs do i need to research to get those up? I know antimatter weapons and tri-quan training ups my soldiers abilities, but what techs improve tech, defence and attack for soldiers?
I don't think soldiers have attack and defense the same way as ships do, theres just the soldiering ability. ~SDC~
