Where are you posting from?
He's probably on the website, if you look closely enough theres always a extra icon on the bottom of your post if you post from Stardock Central that says you posted from it. ~SDC~

being helpful on the forum, answering questions and such is your best way to get promoted from citizen. The metaverse has no effect on it. ~SDC~
Point is that if you download it again then I'd have to pay twice.
No you don't. Not if you keep track of the serial number. ~SDC~
The popup desctiption for resources has two percent sings, ie "...recieve an additional 5%% to morale". On all resources.
Theres a seperate thread for typos where this should probably go. ~SDC~
So if I only needed 90% cultural for victory why didn't the timer start?
You need it to say 100% if it says 100% for cultral victory that means you have enough of the galaxy to win, if the number is any lower you don't. The number is not telling you the percentage of the Galaxy you have. ~SDC~
Did this happen to anyone, I had my cultural victory number at 98% for at least 8 turns, and there was no message saying I won thru cultural ,
The 98% does not mean you have 98% of the Galaxy, it means you have 98% of what is neaded to win. ~SDC~
How can I download it?
Download and install Stardock Central. It will be there under the software tab. http://www.galciv.com/download.asp ~SDC~
It's only available at the moment to Drengin.net subscribers. Carielf said it would be available to people who preordered it when it gets to Gamma stage. But she said at the time she didn't know when that would be. ~SDC~
From what I remember the publishers has decided not to make it availble in stores, Stardock can't do much about it. ~SDC~
What time today will it be released?
They have never or almost never given a time before its released, though people ask almost every time. ~SDC~
but i could purch more then one building per planet before i upgraded.couldnt it be thet the project was queueing before or somthing.
You were never supposed to be able to purchase mosre than one building on a planet in a turn. If you could it was probably the trainer. Which most people here probably don't approve of. ~SDC~
If you mean the game itself slows down, then yes on older computers it's fairly common, on newer computers though it shouldn't. ~SDC~
I don't think it's available yet to those that preordered it, to get it now I think you need Drengin.net. I seem to remember Carielf saying it would be available to those who preordered it when it's in Gamma stage, which she said at the time she didn't know when that would be. ~SDC~
I doubt theres an exact date set yet but I think theres still more beta versions to release first. ~SDC~
1) I read on a retailer's site "The BonusPak will be available via Stardock Central. Every GalCiv CD comes with a serial number that can be entered into Stardock Central. Once that is done, the player has an account on Stardock.net which enables them to get updates to Galactic Civilizations which includes updates to the game, the BonusPak, a windowed version, and more."So once I install the game, I should download the patch and a seperate bonus pack? Or it all in one download?2) Do folks
Will the Metaverse accept games that use mods?
It depends really, most likely it will. But if you get too much of an advantage you will get a zero score. ~SDC~
Wait, version 1.20.235 build 34? That's the next update after 1.13. Something is up.
No, he means version 1.20.235 of Stardock Central, not Galciv ~SDC~
Also the death star movement doesn't make sense. When I first built it, it had 1/1. Then a couple of turns later after I put a stack on it it had 6/6. Then, later when I took a planet, it had 1/1 again. Also, I noticed the death star can destroy planets and the ships defending them. Why is it then that if I bring a stack with it it will attack with the stack first? That is just wasting ships.
The Terror Star's movement increasing above one in a stack is a bug. ~
Probably just needed a wincustomize refresh, or a logout and login. The accounts are identical; vets here are vets there, as far as I know.
I've looked around on the wincustomize forums before, and from what I've picked up theres no such thing as a wincustomize 'veteran'. The wincustomize forums use a completly different ranking system. ~SDC~
2. Why shouldn't you build all the improvements on a planet.
Your economy will most likely not be able to support it. ~SDC~

Like I said before post this on the correct forum, few people here will be able to help you. ~SDC~
I only posted one score ever, it's more than 6 months old, hasn't disappeared yet. ~SDC~
