8 years ago, i would've voted for mccain without hesitation but he's aligned himself with the far right religious wing of the republican party now. our forefathers stated there should be a seperation of church and state for a reason, don't you think? they were right, too!
I dont' follow politics with a lot of scrutiny, but I pay attention. This comment has me baffled. How is McCain "aligned" with the re

And it would affect My wife and I raising taxes on the so called rich. The Clintons made over 100 million dollars since 2000. How many jobs did they create because of Bush's tax cuts and how many jobs do you think will be lost if their taxes are raised? The answer is 0. Corporations making record profits are not go

Maybe I missed it, but who is going to pay for the 30% discount? Just looking at rough numbers, the U.S. uses about 146 billion gallons of gas per year ( http://auto.howstuffworks.com/question417.htm ) which works out to about 28 gallons per week per household. So assuming more than one driver per household, everyone is already using less than 25 gallons per week and so everyone would get the 30% discount (I know this isn't the

I have used Firefox for years now, but I just built a new computer with Vista and the protection that seems to be afforded to IE 7 running in Protected Mode has me intrigued. What (if any) seems to be the consensus on EI 8 in Protected Mode versus Firefox 3 as far as security?

I second NOD32...I switched from Norton to NOD32 about 2-3 years ago and love it. I am not sure how it compares, but on my Vista computer it is now using 12.8 MB of memory.

I just realized it has been 4 months since I got my new car. I meant to write a little something earlier. The details: 2006 Cadillac CTS 3.6L V6 Luxury Package (255 h.p.) I used to use Norton for years, but switched to Eset NOD32. Probably the best in the wild detection, daily updates, uses only 22MB of RAM. For firewall, I use my Linksys Router. For adware/spyware I use Webroot SpySweeper. I have only had it about a month so not much experience yet, but it seems to be highly rated by the various magazines.

The various high end Caddy's are somewhat interesting but I don't like the way they look. Have you considered getting the Caddy and customizing the appearance?

#5 by Daiwa Friday, March 31, 2006 I live in Arizona and am acutely aware of the burden that illegal immigration places on us. I don't believe we should declare blanket amnesty, but there is a huge dilemma in dealing with the issue and that is the fate of children of illegal immigrants born here who are thereby American citizens. I don't believe we can or should deport American citizens and I don't believe we should separate children from parents by deporting only the latter.

Showing commercials up to the point of the posted start time would be fine. I feel like once that start time has arrived, that is time I paid for and I didn't pay to see commercials. On cable tv, I disagree with you a bit. I feel like I am paying the cable company to provide access to all those channels I wouldn't otherwise have access to. However, if I pay on top of that for a specific channel, like HBO, then I would not expect to be viewing

My kids are going to spend their first night away from home on Friday when they stay at my parents house. So, that leaves my wife and I with a date night. I think our last one was last summer...not sure. I used to like going to the movies, so I thought maybe that is what we would do. But I am just not looking forward to it. You see, the last time we went (last summer,

Ok, so I am testing again. I cleared my widget cache and loaded silica calendar and set it to load upon boot-up. I rebooted once and it loaded fine. On the second re-boot I get the message: "dxwidget.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience."

Yes. I usually use the Widget Manager to clear the widget cache. I can then load the widgets and they work fine. After 1 or 2 reboots they are back to not loading properly.

I thought it was pretty funny when David said that he didn't believe Bill's show was fair and balanced. Then David says he bases that opinion on what he has read because he has never watched Bill's show! Talk about shooting yourself in the foot regarding any credibility you may have in the debate.
