Where Art Thou Widgets? in DesktopX WinCustomize Forums

I was having the problem that when the computer booted, widgets showed as loaded in the Widget Manager, but were not visable. The weather widget canvas would show but only listed my city, nothing else. So I uninstalled everything, deleted remaining folders, cleaned the registry, and reinstalled. Rebooted, and everything worked!. I think tonight is my second reboot since re-installing the software and it is back to the same problem. How can I track down

DesktopX Widget Manager in DesktopX JoeUser Forums

By going to the Object Desktop Launcpad and clicking DesktopX, then clicking Load Widgets, you get a widget manager with an icon in the system tray. How can I get the widget manager to start automatically with Windows, or to creat a desktop short-cut to start it?

Yes, I have the same problem with the Stardock weather. Also, when I boot up and have the widgets load automatically but do not load desktopx, the weather widget only shows the city name and the temp when I last logged off. This happens with both the Stardock and the c242 widgets.

Update.... I stopped experimenting with the various Object Desktop software and my icons have stayed in place for the last 2 months...until tonight. I load up Stardock Central (SDC) because I haven't for a while and am getting to the urge to buy something from Stardock. I don't know if I agree with the judges rationale, but I don't see anything wrong with the dog search. For the dog to smell the drugs is equavalent to the officer viewing something in plain sight in the car. The dog is smelling air outside the vehicle which gives direct evidence to illegal activity. The same as if the officer smelled smoke from a joint when he was talking with the driver is enough for probable cause.
