lol, I've got nothing on the Fellowship Critics Corp LOL Get well soon, Killa - if you're stuck in a chair, I can't write about you going on a rampage in - um, never mind. Just get well! oh, i just remembered a good quote from We Were Soldiers you might like right now: "Beautiful morning, Sergeant!" "What are you, a fucking weatherman now?" A mate lent me a video of last week's Pizza - if I get time, I'll post some more Habib porn scripts :-p [

(these happen before the Galactic Peace Ball, as documented in #603) The Armada of Peace The first thing that struck Gerakken as he entered the throne room aboard the Doom was Pontius' haggard expression. He looked old, much older than Gerakken remembered. "You summoned me, milord?" The emperor responded in a tired voice. "Yes, my faithful gunner. I... have been looking at my social calendar. The Galactic Peace Ball is approaching. Recall the f

>:( >:( >:( I just watched tonight's Pizza - THEY STOLE MY IDEA! Habib's decided to go out and make cheap porn, and some of them are having flashbacks to silent porn from the 20s, and middle-eastern porn from the 70s... (if you don't like this, blame it on pizza) Title: Beast of the Middle East A guy in army cams is running down the street. He knocks on the door, a woman answers. Woman: Yes? Man: Hello, darling. (points to a box of bullets) I'm the

I remember one story I heard regarding Long Tan, about the NZ artillery officer attached to D Company. When the front Aussie infantry platoon was trapped, he was there with them, calling in heavy arty fire for target co-ords about 40 or 50 metres away from the platoon's position. For the record, that is f'n risky, and even though you see it lots in the movies, it is very rarely done. They had to change the target co-ords so many times throughout the battle, and one wrong number heard over the ra

Ah, the "special editions"... well, I didn't care much about the extra special effects, one way or the other. You know what pissed me off? That scene when Han blasts Greedo in the cantina. In the new one, they had to add the extra shot of Greedo firing first (and missing, some bounty hunter to miss a guy from two metres away), then get shot by Han. WTF is wrong with Han shooting the guy first under the table? That's the kind of guy he is! Bloody political correctness... >:(

I don't know about making all empires invite-only, I can't see how that would increase participation. And setting 1-20, 21-40, and 40+ membership levels seems really artificial to me. Maybe if they make empire a score a function of the number of players in it - but then, you'd have the top scoring players complaining about all the "deadwood" players below them and kicking them out. Doesn't sound like fun to me. Damn, I'm stumped. Out of curiosity, have any of the devs said what prop

"i thought it was pretty funny when that cnn reporter who was doing her shoot in times square was saying how important it was for new yorkers to conserve power, while behind her, you can see the huge video billboards and lighted advertisments that nobody bothered turning off." I must say, that cracks me up LOL

"mmmm, it's UNNATURALLY quiet in here." Don't worry, I'm back now. :-p I was working this weekend, just got to get some sleep - I'll add more spam here when I wake up in a day or two... now, can I get to sleep without thinking about pirates with too much cheek rouge and fuzzy grey drop bear photos... (btw, kit, that picture is scary on a dial-up modem, when the picture slowly loads and shows more and more of the shaved drop-bear arse. I'm just glad the picture doesn't

I just had a flashback of the Dragonlance books, of a pure-good cleric and pure-evil mage working together to unleash a great evil upon an unsuspecting world. I can't remember why I said that, I must be really tired... Oh, yeah. Please don't unleash a great evil upon an unsuspecting world :-p

The Ethics of Conquest Inside his bunker, Seth Lewd waited paitently. The Posse was approaching the Arcean planet he was hiding on, but he was not concerned. Indeed, he was pleased. He knew the Retox would be passing through on a resupply mission, and had planned to capture its bounty of booze to increase his powers, by having more mital-coholians in his bloodstream than anyone before him. He did not view the extra ships en route as a threat, but an opportunity. For the fabled tr

I could -probably- put it on my uni account's webpage - I wouldn't have time to do any fancy HTML, but if you just send me the webpages and pics, I could upload it easily enough. What stories get done would depend on how much time Paul's got. Imagine trying to translate the whole posse thread into a cartoon...

:VOMIT: Oh, my God. You've unleashed a monster. :SKIPPY: :BOUNCY: :RANDY: :HORNY:  :FRISKY: Oh well, it was worth a shot. Still, nice timing to find that just when we were thinking about hidden easter eggs... [Message Edited]
What goods money anyway? You just end up spending it on food and clothing.
Well, I'd rather people contribute money to the campaign, instead of food that's rotten by the time it gets here, or clothes that don't fit me. :) As for my two cents, I wouldn't mind seeing more long-service stripes for the game-churners. Another medal for winning on maso (the level no-one was supposed to win on, IIRC) would also be nice. Actually, I'd like to see the scores for

Me? Filming? I'm still trying to figure out how saying
Thez one! :D Git 'im! YEEEEEEHAAW!!! Chasin' the Lums!
to a woman gets her to lead you into a quiet alley. It's not very subtle, is it? Still, I'll have to try that line sometime. I don't need a camera-man. I've already hacked into the city's security camera system. That expression on your face was priceless, Kit :-p Don't worry, I've been in your shoes... shouts out to WDH! Wherever you are, I'
