1280x960 is a little wider - its a suprising notable difference on some monitors that are 4-3. Hg- you? normal? ps 1600x1200 is the way to go if you want to get serious work done!

just bought stuffit, actually. i love winrar and it was that or stuffit.. but i want to do more than just zips and stuffit had better expansion. plus, the stuffit is cross platform. what does that have to do with anything here? it doesn't. i just thought it was interesting many files are getting to the point where they are completely cross platform. indeed, they talk about computing time to authenticate email. but even there lies a problem for the small man. far too often im rushing to email something out at work either during crisis or deadline.. and the LAST thing i want to do is sit and click around for an extra 60 seconds just to get the email off to several people. call me impatient. but if you're frustrated/tired and just want to get back to your other tasks, that would proboboly give me stroke.

cute images. check the width of the page, its not a standard size so i had to resize my window, or scroll, to take it all in. 800x600 screen compatability is making your page 760px wide. for 1024x768 screens look at having the width around 1016. this is simply to ensure your more important information sits in the 'live area' of the page for more users. 800x600 is still the most used screen resolution but its quickly becomming 1024x768. if you want to use two colums, i would align them b

actually, anything i order from Corbis or GettyImages is BMP format no compression, bitmapped and simple. they're just really freaking hudge. all comp images are jpegs though, and the best graphics for web are jpegs so anything you find for free will likely not be bmp.

i've got an 8 meg 3dfx OVERLAY card from Monster Voodoo.. like ages old i want to put it in something just to see what happens. harddrive speed = key. kona, for prolly 20 bux you can find a tv tuner card with 16 megs of memory that could be fun to play with. watch tv 'n all that.
