the ip addie of a machine is just that - an address that a server post office uses to route information to you. it is, truely all over the place. it is logged on the server, on sites you visit, and in emails you send. sadly, because people suck, it can be used agaisnt you. eh i already said this stuff before so i erased it. get a norton firewall. my buddy just got a new laptop. his fist n
agreeing with pax. if you're contracted out to do a presentation - jaw ping stuff is flash/director. you also get high levels of interactibity. i'm going to be doing some flash buisness cards soon.
um. powerpoint makes slideshows. not movies. now, with a background in macromedia Director, you can go at powerpoint with animations and interactive objects in mind nad really create some stunning things. not bad, in my opinion, considering a complete neophyte can make a function presentation next to a hardened pro in the same program. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=
damn. i just did a search online and couldn't come up with my social security number. but i could make some phone calls - one to the bank, one to my credit card, one to the office, one to my school, and one to my car insurance agency. they all have it. and many more. yes it can be taken from your machine. it could also be taken from your wallet while your jacket is in coat check. someone could intercept your debit card transaction while video taping you entering your pin number from over head (h
my cats need me as much as i need them. they enjoy my company., and i theirs. if they didn't, fuzzy, i'd let them go. but the fact that they arn't clawing at the windows trying to escape, and instead crawl under the covers with me every night, tells me they like the disposition.

if they're the same type of monitor, go into that control panel i mentioned and you'll be able to set the res. if you can't - then i'dsay its a failure on the part of the card. if you have different monitors - some monitors top out at lower resulutions then others. example : my 19 in goes to 1600x1200 while my 17, same brand monitor, only goes to 1280x96.
i like the idea of using that when you're stuck in a traffic jam, or for your kids on a long trip. but take a survey and find out how many people use it wisely screens should be allowed only in the back seats to eliminate that threat. almost got knocked off the road recently by an idiot lady on her cell phone who couldn't drive the downhill turns in bala cynwyd while staying in her lane, or even on h

correct hus, widgets do not require desktop x at all. they are .exe files if i'm not mistaken. but you need Desktopx professional to make a widget. did someone finally copyright the term 'widget' ? i hope not.
Feng-shui for geeks! i've had my office oriented in a way that makes me 'confortable' and even more 'creative' while i work. wouldn't it suck if that orientation clashed with that of my monitor's magnetic position. my second monitor is alwa
indeed!! i'm on my nvidia machine so i dug into my configurations.. the first level was general adapter settings, next level found options similar to ati's hydravision, went another step deeper and found lo and behold: [] Allow different wallpapers per monitor. i appear to have a geforce 4mx. with this card, follow these steps: Desktop Properties ]] settings >> advanced ]] geforce4mx integrated (your adapter tab) >> Desktop configuration ]] Desktops >> Properties
great effort frog boy, keep that post on file for the next time someone strolls by and tries to say we're counting the rest of the world out.
Ugoin↓ - in hindsight, I'm amazed that some of my wallpapers were accepted...can we have a thread for people who think their wallpapers AREN'T good enough but have still been accepted? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/lol.gif" border
