"Star Control Lifetime Founder's Edition - $99.99" Great, now where do I go to throw my money at you?

I will give you my firstborn son if you let me in now...
So it doesn't matter where I place the agents, so long as they're on a planet belonging to an opponent that I want to increase the intel level on?
So how do I get the highest level of intelligence for a given race, now that the espionage slider has disappeared (referring to the individual sliders for each race, wherein you could adjust how much you spent on spying on that race)?
What are the good reasons, then? Disabling squares? Bah.
Surely SOMEONE must know...
How can I send my agents on missions? The manual only says that I can, it doesn't say how -_-;.
Come to think of it, is there an event editor? Its been a while.
Yeah, but... I dunno, I just feel like I'm hobbling myself by taking the RP route, since there is little nuance- you are either good, evil, or neutral. How about this: In addition to the overall bonuses for being Good or Evil, include some bonuses for being Neutral (preferably ones that reflect the theme of Neutrality, like trade bonuses or whatever), AND add in little bonuses for good and neutral event decisions- bonuses independant of overa
The word 'yes' is not sufficient to express the 'yes-ness' of my answer. ~SDC~
Another thing about morality: Its kinda annoying how once you make a few 'evil' choices, its dispropotionately hard to get back to 'neutral'. And just FORGET about being 'good'.
Sadly, no. This forum appears to be deserted. Say, do you have AIM, ICQ, MSN, Or YahooIM? Wanna play a game sometime?
So, I'm dominating all the key issues on the national poll. and I have enough TV ads to make a Cable executive soil his pants... why is honest abe still several points ahead in approval ratings in the vast majority of states? It seems that once Abe's awareness rating hits 100% intimidators don't help, and spin doctors/smear merchants don't seem to help late in the game at all. What the hell do I do to raise approval, since I am alread
Unless I am mistaken, INT only comes into play when you are talking with a reporter, which doesn't happen that often- in fact, you can skip those encounters altogether! Is the effect of INT on a conversation good enough to warrant putting points into it, or keeping it at level 5? How about all the 'core issue's? If you have points in Religion, what bonus(es) do you get? Are they worth it? And last but not least, which skill
How about Ann Coulter and Howard Stern ?
MOO 3, for instance, is multiplayer. Stop by gamespy.com and check ut how many people are playing it multiplayer right now. I was there on Friday evening. 1 person was on the channel, 0 games. And the Gamespy system is built into it.
I agree with your other reasons for not making Galciv multiplayer, but as for Moo3, people aren't playing that because it sucks, not because its multiplayer ;P.
Usually when I play a multiplayer game I'm continiously bailing out my friends anyhow whether it be Tech, Cash or Militarily. So I'm sort of sitting on the fence
No offense, but I think you need to get some smarter friends, then ;P.
Arnor... what? o_O? Btw, Betelgeuse was the home system of the Syreen in the Starcon series, IIRC. ~SDC~
Doesn't the maintainence cost of starbases occasionally crush your economy like a anvil dropped onto an eggshell? ~SDC~
Didn't this subject come up before? I was under the impression that all who do not buy brand new retail copies of the game were branded pariahs and basically ignored ;D. *zealously clutches his personal retail copy of Galciv, purchased from a brick and mortar store*. ~SDC~
I was under the impression that if you are good you are asking and if you are evil you are telling. ~SDC~
I think some programmer or artist just made it that way for the hell of it- I mean it seems pretty unlikely that they'd go to the trouble of replicating the look of the continents only to screw up it by accident in such a major way... ~SDC~
What if you have the + 7% PQ ability? Can you take PQ12s ;D? ~SDC~
Or just build shipyards and the like. Or take advantage of HP boosting events. ~SDC~
Oron; I agree with you. For what its worth, I think both sides should be able to trade for each other's techs. However, the applications could be slightly different; for example, the life force wonder could provide less benefit for good civilizations, reflecting that for the good civilization, going into it is voluntary, not compulsory. Evil civs should be able to use Benevolence -and I really don't think it should be handicapped for them, either...-. I mean, there ar
