Oh, I am so disappointed (:( . I thought my suggestion was by far and away the only one that should be given consideration. ;p If we could vote, I would stuff the ballot box, buy a few votes, bring in a few dead voters. Ooops. Sorry, I forgot I don't live in Louisiana anymore. LOL
For instance why take lines from secondary characters and give them to main characters
The basic reason for doing this is you don't need to introduce more minor characters. In a book there is time to do this. In a movie, even one as long as these are, there isn't. Also, you're already paying the main actors huge sums of money, so why pay others to say the line?
By resubmitting scores, I am only getting the scores that the architects of the game feel I should have gotten in the first place. This is not cheese.
I was only joking! Boy, we are all getting a little testy about the cheese factor these days. Since I am relatively new to the game, about a month and a half and hadn't had any experience with previous versions of the game, the thought never occurred to me. Paraphrasing my own self, I wish I had thought of that! (:(
Grathocke, don't get me wrong. I enjoyed TTT, as a stand alone movie it is excellent. Just when you compare it to the previous movie and to the actual novel (TTT) it falls a bit short.
The great thing about either of these movies is their ability to stand on their own. But I disagree with you on its inability to compare with the original. They each have different themes and tones. The second is far grander in scope and begins to move us into the sweeping epic of the story
But this is still another beta. And it appears you have to have a drengin account to get it. This is in slight contrast to what I have read. Is it going to be just the final X-pack that is provided at no charge? Plz explain.
You need to subscribe to Drengin to get the beta, but the full release will be available for everyone to dl once the testing is done, soon I hope.

Thank you completely, for the MWC forum access. BTW, guys, I got LOTR, TTT today. It was great, despite what ya'll say. And tomorrow my widescreen tv arrives so I get to watch it all over again. :D I guess that means I probably won't be finishing up my game anytime soon unless I get lucky tonight. No, not that kind of lucky! :p [Message Edited]

It probably isn't likely that people will play with older versions, IMO. Everyone likes new bells and whistles, and I think everyone is looking forward to the new improvements. I could be wrong though. There's always someone who thinks the MV _IS_ the game. To me it is just an added bonus.

If you install any of the mods from the library, does it affect your ability to submit scores to the Metaverse while the mod is installed? And if you can submit them, does it affect your score in any way?
I know it has been stated that the Metaverse does not measure skill and should not be taken as a measure of skill according to the powers-that-be, but that argument seems to weaken considerably into becoming an excuse for not fixing scoring by difficulty when taking the current circumstances into account. Please, just make cakewalk mean cakewalk scores and the "new improved +50% maso" mean maso, and so forth scaled appropriately all along the difficulty scale. My 4K culture bombs on a tou

Well, it seems every place you go there's got to be some kind of war going on. I played a GCCG game, finished today, my score was ok. Well, it was almost GCCG. I did build constructors and freighters and starbases. And I went to war just to finish the damn thing. Boring, boring, boring. If ya'll want to to "play" formula games against unworthy opponents, be my guest. And as for everyone who says "Please change the scoring, but please don't change my score," what are you afraid of. If you've been

And while we're at it, how about a few pleasure yachts? Lord Grathocke is getting a little tired of these cramped Space Navy vessels! :HOT:
I don't really see the need for the civilian transport. The colony ship does an adequate job. It's cheap and disposable. Basically I don't see those civilian transports having any use unless the colony ship gets nerfed somehow.
Faster, better able to withstand attacks might be nice.
