Why do you think Start11 is causing this issue and what do you mean by not working? What happens exactly and is it on all areas of the screen or just some? Also what about right clicks?
To give an update: This is my Multiplicity 4.01 pro installation on two Win 11 24H2 (latest updates) PCs in shared KM mode. I'm getting the secondary dropouts on a regular basis, and often the dropout is accompanied by the primary losing its Internet connection. Multiplicity then reconnects to the secondary, and then a few moments later, the connection to the Internet resumes. So Multiplicity 4.01 is crashing the
On some apps (ie Microsoft Edge), when a window is opened, it automatically scrolls to the very bottom of the scrolled window. It should open at the top of the scroll. May not be relevant, but I have the taskbar aligned top. When these windows open, I have to manually scroll all the way to the top. Appreciate fix. You can open your default browser using v2.52 beta. However it will default to bing as it has to know what to go to. There is a registry key to switch to Google search but I don't have access to the information right now so will have to update this thread this week.
New download 2.51 and I don't have any option to put the taskbar on the right or left - only top or bottom, but my co-worker does have it. Why would two people on the same build have different options and how can I get it to give me the vertical option, which is the only reason I would purchase this product.
When is this issue gonna be resolved? I am not getting to use the software I have paid for.
We do not offer support for insider versions of Windows. If you install a release version of Windows then WB 11.04 should work fine.
I had a lot of problems with the 2.50 betas with no taskbar preview thumbnails, jump lists not on the screen, and the start menu button disappearing, so I stopped following. I installed 2.52.1 last week and I have yet to experience any of these issues or any other new usability issues. Love finally being able to go back to having my taskbar on the side of my display under Windows 11, great work by the Stardock team! &nbs
Bingo!!! Neil, thank you very much! When I disabled the firewall earlier, the clipboard/file sharing worked immediately , without having to reboot, so I wrongly assumed that it was not necessary. My bad. The reboot was not necessary in both cases: when my Win11 was set as Public network, as well as after I changed it manually to a Private one. Following your advice, I realized why it was

Your network must be set to private. For security reasons we only open the ports in the Microsoft firewall for private networks. Typically this would be your home/work network. Public would be say the WiFi network in a coffee shop. If you reboot after your firewall changes does that help? On install we open the ports required automatically. There are many processes involved in Multiplicity. It uses ports 39564-30569.

It sounds like the Windows 11 firewall is blocking the clipboard sharing. When a clipboard item is shared from machine A to machine B, it is machine B that connects to machine A to get the contents. So the machine that has the data already in the clipboard is the one thats blocking incoming connections.
Hi Basj, Restarting explorer is not a practical solution because it just defers the problem for a few hours. That's the same as suggesting that I just stop using that clock because as soon as I restart explorer, it will soon be wrong again. What value is a clock that will always be inaccurate after a few hours? Given that this problem is consistently reproduceable, how about giving me a debug version so I can help you
I hadn't upgraded for a while, maybe skipped two or three updates. I upgaded yesterday, and now two important things are broken: 1) I use the old and deprecated, but still useful ObjectBar (also a Stardock product), which I had docked to the bottom edge in hidden mode, where a key combo which was triggered by a mouse button (logitech is customizable, allows to assign keyboard combos to buttons). I would check what the pin actually points to. You can do this by right clicking on the pinned item on the taskbar, picking properties and then clicking on the shortcut tab. Look at the very end of the target and see what it says. If it says the right name then the OS is causing some sort of folder redirection to take place, the most likely reason for that would be a handle to it is still open in explorer somewhere and making the OS redirect it for compatibility.

The taskbar being large will have happened because Start11 was told it had been resized by the user to a larger size. This would then be saved and so importing the settings would again do this. Did you perhaps click on the edge of the taskbar and then your mouse moved up the screen at any point? To avoid this you can lock the taskbar which will prevent it being resized by right clicking it and picking the lock option.

This used to be an option in previous versions but I don't see anything now. I'm using the Modern Style Windows 7 menu.
I don't think this was an option before? You can have folders and shortcuts all sorted A-Z or you can have folder

How many displays do you have showing in display properties? It sounds like Windows is telling Multiplicity that you have another display active which is clearly not visible to you. If you are able to run dxdiag.exe from a run window (Win+R) and save the log and then upload it somewhere and send me a private message with a link to it then it may shed some light on this. I also assumed you are not using any software which might be linked to multiple monitors or splittin
