The taskbar already has this feature. Do you perhaps have a top aligned taskbar? If so in the release version of Start11 you need to enable enhanced taskbar enabled on the latest Windows 11 install. The latest beta of Start11 allows this without enhanced taskbar enabled too.
On the bottom of the taskbar page there is a setting for touch taskbar detection. Change this from automatic to always.
Are you using Start11 as well?

Start11 does not have premium vs free features. It is all or nothing. If it asks to activate then it isn't activated. Do you perhaps have something which cleans up 'unused' files? Those have been known to remove files which are in fact important.

Windows file systems are not case sensitive so it shouldn't be that.
Go to taskbar in Start11 and enable enhanced taskbar.
This should be nothing to do with Start11. It cannot change system colours. There isn't even any setting in the backup files for such a colour other than the ones used for Start11 menus themselves which is purely an internal value. Are you sure you have not also used say WindowBlinds? That can change colours.
What version do both ends have installed?
Taskbar pins are handled by the OS not Start11 so if they are missing then explorer decided to delete them most likely. I would repin them.
Being a wireless mouse shouldn't have any impact on multiplicity. If the mouse cursor is invisible but functional on the secondary then this means the secondary computer believes there is no mouse plugged in. Windows helpfully hides the mouse in this situation. The solution is to enable the fake cursor option in multiplicity on the secondary, or enable the OS mouse keys accessibility setting or connect a mouse. I think you could override the Mac address in the registry. The UI just saves it to the registry. Off hand I don't recall the exact registry address but will post it tomorrow. As for why it is getting the wrong one, that's an interesting question and we will do some investigations.
Removing that file will break your ability to activate or change activations or get notifications of updates. It will be a false positive and I would recommend considering an alternative AV application.

As long as you have the current version of Deskscapes you should have no trouble with it on 24H2. I am not aware of any install blocks either.

The setting is on the Settings page in the configuration window. At the very bottom. Note that this will only show using Pro or higher versions (it was KVM and higher in v3 I believe)

If there is a gap then there is probably a monitor there as multiplicity cannot introduce gaps between computers as the mouse has to be on a screen always. Check windows is not setup with another screen that's turned off.
What version of Start11 are you using? Also what cpu do you have?
