They are fine to use in the game and most of them include a backup in case you wish to go back to the original version. The star randomizers do just that , they randomize the contents of the star list so you get a more varied use of the star names. This is only worth using if you have one of the huge star name mods to use it on. Oh and no they cannot corrupt anything but i am not sure how effective they would bo on TA?

I would think the answer would be different if you asked the question in the two games forums :) Over here i guess all players would sa GCII and in the SIns forums the opposite. For myself i have purchased both games and as of yet have not played Sins once :NOTSURE: However i believe both games to have their pros and cons so i would suggest playing the free demo for sins (as you already know what GCII does and the expansion just makes it 200% better) and see how you get on. <

I am one of the people who love the mega events, and I wouldn't start a game without them turned on. On a personal level, I love the idea of my neat and happy empire being torn asunder by a galactic mega event as it adds a randomness to the game. At the same time I can easily see how people might not like their games changed that dramatically so I applaud the idea to make them an option. Use or do not use, either way play for fun! :) [img]http://img183.imageshack.us/img183/

OK, thanks to some moving around by Cari and crew i will have to do the options screen again pretty much from scratch  This will obviously mean a delay in the new updates for a few days or so. What i might do is do some of the rest of the details until we are sure no futher updates are forthcoming.
