If you already have it installed you can just copy the Molten directory from your WB skins directory to a backup disk, then copy it back over after you've installed WB again. Also, if I remember correctly, Molten was installed as part of the Windowblinds installation - came with it, but I can't guarantee that so backing it up would be a good idea. You can back up all your skins that way if you want to.

To load a cursor that you already have on your machine, you need to load it seperately within CursorFX. Excalpius- So THAT'S what causes that! I've been wondering why my tabbed docks switched screens occasionally, hadn't tied the mouse to it. Now if I can just keep from playing with the mouse while I'm waiting on a boot I should be good to go. Thanks for the trivia!

Another trick, though probably not the greatest, which works for me: My machine has trouble with some skins which use a lot of transparency when they are loaded at system startup, but run fine if they are loaded after boot via WBConfig window. When I'm using one of those skins, I put a shortcut to WBConfig.exe into the Windows user Startup folder. Fiper: Oh argh. I just looked at the system requirements for OD+ [link="https://www.stardock.com/products/objectdock/learn.asp"]WWW Link[/link] and it says "Windows Vista/XP/2003/2000 (32-bit)" so if your XP Pro is 64-bit that could very well be the source of your issue and I'd contact SD support at the link I put in reply #13. Too many friggin' permutations of the same operating systems.

After reading post #10 above I went back and played with this some more. I hadn't noticed that you could "run as" Admin, exit Object Dock, run OD normally while still under the limited login and then have the systray work. One thing I saw when doing this though is that it only works if the Admin theme has a systray dock loaded, or if one is created while under the "run as" Admin. Otherwise when OD is started normally while still under the limited user the systray still won't load. It

I think the problem isn't so much XP Pro 64 as it is logon user rights. CFX control panel loads in a dash under 6 seconds on my machine. That's fresh from boot (no cache cheating) on a P4/2.8 running WinXPHome, certainly nothing hot, with 115 objects in the Themes directory. Ya I'm happy with that. Don't know where a 33 second load time would come from?

I only say this because it's such an easy thing to miss - On a regular dock, the dock's right-click menu directly shows "Lock Dragging" to either check or uncheck. On a tabbed dock, the right-click menu shows "View" and the "Lock Icon Dragging" is in a submenu within "View". Changing the setting on a regular dock seems to set it for all the regular docks. Changing the setting on a tabbed dock seems to only affect the tabbed dock that you are clicking on. Does any of

Looks like the systray dock function isn't working in limited user mode right now, so if you're using limited users you'll want to do this while logged on as Administrator so you can see results. This method will set up a new dock for systray. You can similarly just add the systray items to an existing dock, but I'd guess you'd want them seperate: Right click on the object dock icon in your systray, select "my docks". As far as I know the current version of OD is 1.90[b].020 If you've got that loaded, you're there. If you're not seeing it in the "Misc" section, make sure you've got the box checked to "Show pre-release versions".
