Kind of looks like somebody spent some time on it, then said "That's nice, now what the heck am I going to do with it?"
I have exactly the same. I can not set any kind of blur.
If you're talking about the Explorer window background blur, you need to set the "Explorer background blur mode" to something other than "Disabled".
I tried to cover some of the differences in Reply 9 here, it's not all-inclusive: https://forums.wincustomize.com/500756/page/1/#3787562

You might check the Windows update history. I wouldn't think they'd push down a bios update, but they do push down hardware driver updates, so who knows.
What do you think about this, is it something you would use if it were made available? Why or why not?
Nope, because I have no interest in unnecessarily adding a "pre-existing" condition to my medical history. I realize that is contrary to public health interests, but that's the reality of it. If I get sick enough that I have to seek out medical care, well we'll have to go from there. Meanwhile, I take the recommended precautions seriously.
Turns out they weren't done yet. Cut down the tree and fished out live stragglers including a couple of queens. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/murder-hornet-washington-scientists-capture-asian-giant-hornet-queens-eradication-nest/ I have this mental image of the stragglers holed up in there saying "Heh, is that all you got?"
Japanese honeybees have actually developed a neat defense against these hornets.
That is such a bizarre coordinated defense mechanism. [e digicons]o_O[/e] I have to wonder how on Earth that came about.
I've been following it. I'm a little intrigued by their appearance, to me they look both intimidating and beautiful at the same time. It's unfortunate that they are such an invasive species. That said, I don't even like having the typical yellow jackets anywhere around. I did think the "dental floss and tracker" technique was an interesting approach, creative and meticulous. I'll also give them credit for using the vacuum, I'm afraid I would have gone with more
I meant split each into a high-volume gallery and a low-volume gallery, Wallpapers and Wallpapers Boutique, Dreams and Dreams Boutique.
I remember a similar predicament with the Object Dock gallery when the backgrounds were being overrun by the icons. Ultimately the two were split into different galleries. Perhaps the same approach could be used here, say something like "Wallpapers" and "Wallpaper Boutique", etc. Just a thought.

Good, glad it was something simple. No need to feel bad about it, obviously it is something I suspected a person might do. [e digicons];)[/e]
Just in case you're doing it in the wrong order, you do need to change "Explorer background blur mode" to something other than "Disabled" before any of the other settings will accept input.
Guys, I have been trying to figure out which software to use for skinning Windows 10 with a Windows XP or Windows 7 theme, including round corners and including scrollbars, for a long time without real success. Can somebody point me in the right direction, particularly whether I should use WindowBlinds or Curtains, or something else?
You would want to use WindowBlinds (plus Start10) which skin
please, puh-lease add an "APPLY" button.
I really like it the way it is, so if you go that route maybe you could add a global setting "Clicking on skin tile applies skin" or something?
but it requires a master degree to do it.
No, trust me, I'm not that smart. [e digicons];)[/e] You just have to play with it a little and get the feel of it.
Just sitting here playing with it, using the settings you are showing there creates a solid outline instead of a shadow. That makes sense, you're telling it to create a completely opaque image with no blur. Instead of 100% / 0% / 2px, try 70% / 23% / 2px.
Not sure what you mean by "degraded". Anyway, it was a subscriber skin, those were given out for a while to subscribers, it was a "point-in-time" type of thing. I don't remember exactly when it went out, you may have it listed if you click on your user name up at the very top of this page (next to "upload") and then click on the "Subscriber Only Skins" link that shows in the Profile paragraph. If you have it listed there I think it will be the non-MyColors version but I can'
I'll warn you that these are all Master Skins but they're the ones I'm familiar with: Liquid, similar to Water, has an extra reflection blending/transparency option and a Night Sky reflection image in addition to Clouds: https://www.wincustomize.com/explore/dream/search/Liquid/page/3 Moving Wallpaper, zooms, pans, and cycles a directory of images you choose: <a href="https://www.wincu
I change individual icons, usually if I really don't like the default. Once I've changed one, I rarely change it again.
