[/quote] You may have already figured this out, but the only way the animations in the Start Menu work is if you turn off WinFX. I think what really happens is with WinFX running the animations load behind the Start Menu instead of on top of it, so you don't see them. I don't have WinFX installed anymore so I can't double check it.&nbsp

Having "Acrylic Blur" selected within Start10 v1.7 causes blur to not work at all on the WB taskbar. You could make it work on the previous Start10 version, but once you applied a WB without taskbar blur it broke. If you deselect "Acrylic Blur" within Start10, on a WB with everything blurred, you will have acrylic blur on the Start Menu and Window Frames,

Nope, no change. I deleted the .bin files so they would prompt me for the keys again, then copied them straight from the My Downloads page "Just In Case". The registration screens always tell me the registration is successful. Hmm, it's a pickle.

Thanks. Didn't help though. FWIW these are dynamic dreams, they're programs that don't use videos. I do have the K Light Mega codecs installed though. Since the other dynamic dreams are running ok, seems like it would be related to the activation keys one way or another, but .... ? (I think those are the only dreams I have that use keys). Thanks though.

After installing Beta3 the issues I described in Reply 1 remain. I've been doing the deactivate/uninstall/purge/install routine on all these updates. But... After installing Beta3, I created a new Standard user and ran Deskscapes on it. That new login does not seem to be suffering from the issue. Not sure what that might mean.

It's probably just a matter of the way I tend to use DeskScapes, which could be a little unusual. I often run a dream or two for a little while and then just want to pop back to the wallpaper I had been using without having to fish it back out. No biggie though.

I should add that after leaving Deskscapes disabled, turning off the machine, and turning it back on, the standard Windows wallpaper selection methods continue to (not) work as I described above. In other words, merely having the beta installed essentially cripples changing the wallpapers through Windows.

Installed it again and Explorer.exe is behaving itself. The first 2 times I installed I had disabled my antivirus and got a Windows security warning about "unrecognized" or something, which I clicked through. This time I left my antivirus enabled and didn't get the Windows warning. (?)
