How can a grown man let a woman bludgen him to death with an iPod?? What the hell was he thinking...???? After the first whack or two, I would of grabbed her arm or something, heck...how about MOVING out the way??? Oh man, I don't know whether to laugh at his stupidity or feel bad for the family's loss...
I've always had a really bad temper. When I was a little kid, and I lost in something...the whole neighborhood knew about it. I do think that my bad temper has actually helped me though, nothing is worse than me failing at something, I can't stand it...and that gives me motivation to do everything as best as I can. When I started playing pool, I lost...I lost my temper...I tried harder...next thing I know, I'm winning tournaments. I also have absolutely no patience...so getting pissed is the
Ok, it was pretty stupid...move along people... Here is the last word... WTF [Message Edited]
I'm very intrigued by this, I've always wanted a program launcher that sits at the top of the screen and is hidden until you mouse over it (much like the screenshot with only the tabs showing). I always hoped someone would something similar in DX...but nevermind. I can see myself using this in the short future... <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl
I just started using Firefox and the same exact thing happens to me. Though it only happens when I download and apply the skin by clicking the balloon popup, but after I restart the browser, everything is back to normal. It is a bit wierd...
If I were to make my own OS, it would no longer be the best computer ever, but a rather large paper-weight. What would you do with an OS that has no software? My whole point was that it's not about what Macs can do better than PC's, it's what enables you to get the job done. A PC has purpose...it's all about form and functionality, I think Apple relies too much on form. If they really wanted t
One thing for sure, I'll have Stardock apps pre-installed...running on XP. That's because you need XP to make the greatest PC in modern-day history. Think you can handle it, Cerebro?
You can use any calendar script that suits your needs, but permission is always required . Check Martin's library first, he creates lots of example objects to show people how to use DX, getting permission for the script shouldn't be a problem. [Message Edited]
Anyone wanna give me $30Mil US so I can start a revolutionary computer company? I swear I will finally end this stupid debate of what is better. /me plays dumb...but is really a mad genius. I actually do have ideas, and I might even start doing it...granted, not with $30 million dollars...but hey, most of that is for advertising anyway. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/jokegrim.
If you can edit a Logon with no problems, why not edit a working logon, and change the bitmaps with your own, and customize it to your needs? That's probably the best way of doing it...just make sure you replace ALL the files, as you don't want to use someone else's graphics.
Try editing the script, there is usually a setting for text color. Look for RGB(255, 255, 255) or something similar, and play with the numbers. You can also change the color of the current day, and maybe even the days of the week, month, etc.
SkinPlant has some premium themes... http://www.skinplant.com
https://www.stardock.com/products/windowblinds/ - Get it here...and yes, you have 2,999 different skins at your disposal...it's an invaluable tool to have.
Ok, most of the time the themes are "hard-coded" with paths, that means they are pointing to a path on the author's machine, which may be different from yours. You need to right-click on an object you wish to change, in the properties screen you will be able to point the shortcut to the right file. You can do this for all/any shortcuts on DX themes... As for the Dark Industry taskbar, you need Windowblinds to change that. Once you have Windowblinds, just find the Dark Industry WB ski
Lavendar metallic, fairly straight up design, nothing too fancy, with the taskbar buttons turning a lime green jelly colour I dunno if MetalX fits that description very well...I can't even think of any lavendar metallic skins... Here's a guess...try looking through BoXXi's library, lot's of funky colors...quite a few of them "lavenderish
Can you be a lil' bit more descriptive about the skin? I'm sure someone will be able to find it for you... As to the 2nd question, you can find all your skins in: C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Windowblinds\ skin name here That's the default, might be a different on yours, but each skin will have a folder of its own, just copy/paste them to make backups... <
Yes, sure is...you need ObjectBar. https://www.stardock.com/products/objectbar/
I never knew that either, thanks for the tip... I checked the RAM after I did this, and it was about 5% lower than I last remember it, so it's either because of that or because I'm using Firefox now...
The scariest thing in that screenshot is your Winamp playlist! I mean...John Denver??? Sheesh!!
Try keep things to one thread only...
