Anyone that Supports the Lower class instead of everyone being equal in USA Needs a to Reread the US constitution. Not only do illegal imigrants cost taxpayers Billions of dollars, these poor people work for dirt cheap and have to live off the system. Reply to Surrendering needs an overhaul in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

You have to make sure you pretty much overpower them to get them to surrender to you, or they will surrender to the race that has been friendlist to them. This works both ways. I have had many races before that surrender to me even though im not at war with them. If your at war just make sure you take them quick. If not you risk them surrendering to another.

Don't have a favorite really. Done them all at one point or another. Seems to me Conquest and Research victories are the best since they are most satisfing and hardest to get.

If you like stuff like that, but don't want to do the Multi Player online Pay Per month thing. I suggest checking out X3. I didn't know much about Eve then I went to the website, sounds neat but seems just like X3 without the Online stuff. I'm sure Eve is more intense since you face Humans, unlike X3 wich is Single Player.

I noticed they never respond to these questions. Very unlike them.. Kinda disapointed in that respect, they are usually very candid about talking about the game. Which tells me that maybe they are a little ashamed of the whole Metaverse Thing and do not want to deal with it right now. Little surprised though if someone complains about its not fair like in Post 1.2 that attacker strikes first, they respond right away. This is the third post Ive seen on Metaverse and not a peep. Odd.

I have not had a Minor race start in my area since the game first came out. At one point they just never was in game. Now they seem to be back but never around me. I still trade with them when I can. But they are usually dead within a year.

I agree. Big ships are pretty useless.. Unless you consider the Better defenses IE more. But I do wish that if weapons get bigger so does damage. Then I guess that smaller ships would be useless... Hmmmm.. Last game this was my build. Had about 20 Small fighters (planet defense) Had about 30 Medium (Frigates) (main attacker) Had 2 Large (DD) Didnt do much with them since they were only slightly better then the Medium with the tech I had at time.

Well hope they fix this. Kinda lame. Then again 0 pop planets= no taxes. Ps I thought it was common knowledge that Pop has no effect of Research or Production? Taxes and Budget effect those. And 0 pop planets give no taxes.

I'm not sure (since most my games never last long enough to get that hight) but I think this has been an issue since the game has been released. And has been reported before. Their are a few other Techs usually the high ones nobody sees much of that are almost the same. But make sure you check the Size too, if the size is smaller then Tri Sort I then that might be the way they wanted it. If you can fit two Tri Sort II for Only one Tri sort I then that is what they intended.

Hmmmm Ill Only comment on the first line of your long post. **When you have a good start the game is over.** And I bet you restart the Game until you get that good start. Try to actually play a Bad start and then come back to complain. Game is alot harder when You Don't get the PERFECT start, that i'm sure you look for before you even play.

Only problem I have with it, if we do shoot the missle down (guys you do know that they intend the missle to reach US soil for test) is if we miss. Talk about embarassing. We need to keep The North where they are, they will implode eventually. The people of North Korea will eventually revolt. May take another 20 years but will happen.
