Well If you do get stuck with the Trade Route Vote IN UP might as well leave no point in saying in UP if the only thing that keeps you thier is the trade. Think of it this way when the UP restricts you to only one trade route, they just want you to Destroy them. Its like an Invitation for destruction.
I don't think you should get their treasury. In most cases the Treasury would be Exausted by the time you take them over anyway. All that would be left are assets, which you do get if you invade their planets. Most ships I would scrap anyway, or would be by the surviving captians. In most wars you take over a broken down people and economy and this is the way it should be.. Look at history. Germany, japan, Iraq.. Etc.
Yes. My games go just like this on Challenging Colonization rush (seems alot faster now like Pre 1.1) Pay attention not to many just TURN TURN TURN. Build up, TURN TURN TURN TURN TURN TURN Death and destruction. Turn, kill Turn, die. etc. Pick your Victory. TURN TURN TURN TURN TURN. Fun as hell though for some strange reason.
If you have internet on the Computer all you have to do is install from the disk. (or redownload if you bought online version only) If no internet then you have to take a few more steps which will require an Email verification when you install a patch on the CD version.
MultiPlay Ruins Games. I hope they never add it. All that MultiPlay brings is Nerfs, more Crybabies, and strange Balancing issues that make no sense.
Me too. It can get pretty annoying. But other Times its extremly helpful.. So its a toss up really. Its kinda like Girlfriends Can't kill em, or live without them..

Cause its lame. Its a Bandaid fix. Until they come up with a REAL fix, this won't cut it. All it will do now is get the people that are making Attack only ships to add Defenses to There ships. We need a Real System that will decide who shoots first by some sort of initiative system. Oh yea! the AI fired on me. Right before they died. Yippeeeeee. Why not just say everyone fires at the same time? Thats all this really is.
In the 15 games or so I played I had 3 Uprise Civilizations.. All 3 died within 10 turns after. LOL. I rember once the devs said that thier is a small chance of a Out of Galaxy Invasion from a Far Superior race. Wonder if thats true or they were just talking about the DreadLords.

Why not just say the whole tech tree is bad. Gee. Unless you want to micro manage everything you will be fine. Good luck tying to build those late model ships on anything other then Industrial. LOL.
It must of been the Ram. GC2 must of been sucking up all your catch ram. Even though you fixed it, uping your Virtual Memory might of helped also. You can also download a Ram Tester (forgot the name) that will test if y our Ram Is Stable. I have a feeling alot of these crashes are Ram Releated for either Unstable ram, or Virtual Memory is too low.
Well, not a very good answer for you.... But you can try to bring you pc to wherever you are using the internet to talk on this message board. That way you won't have to wait the whole weekend. Just a thought.
Well, that depends on what you choose for Galaxy type. I Forgot all the options but I usually go for Scattered. Sounds like you selected the one that clusters or something.
I have never been asked that.. When You try to start the game a pop up comes up and ask tells you about not having an Internet Connection do you want to email it. Then Another box pops up that Asks for you Emailaddress and the 28 Digit code. After you enter this info another box pops up giving you all the info of What to write in the Topic, the Address to send the info too. And the actual Info you have to cut and paste into the Email Message area. Never seen anything about where I b

Well, basically just say what you did? Is this a save game from Before 1.1 Installed? And paste your DeBugg File into this thread for they can see your system info and the crash log etc. Also Read the Stickie at the Top about how to report a 1.1 crash (or bug).
Yes, make sure you play it above normal when you get use to the system.
Well something must of happened Mundo, I had to do this twice so far. The first time (release day) I recieved my Response in less the 15 mins. The 2nd time (just this week) by reading the email (I didnt get back to night time to check email) It again took less then 15 mins. I send the email at 6:38 AM or so Recieved the Bin File at 6:49 AM.. So something must be wrong.. Did you make sure you copied all the info down right? Did you put the 28 Digit Code in right?
Yeah but bye the time you get to choose your Alignment The choices are usually over anyway. By then the galaxy is pretty much Colonized.
Go the opposite of what everyone else is doing. And in 1.1 seems they all choose 1 path. Easy to counter.
Oh another thing, it would be a little different if the process was automated or someting. You send email and instantly get something back, but nope you have to wait for someone to READ it, then do whatever it is they do, then they send it back. So if they are not a stardock when you send the email your screwed. The process really sucks the more I think about it. Of course again if we had internet we wouldn't really give a rats butt. You have to do it by email. When you try to send it, it will ask you if you want to Verify via email. Say yes and Copy and paste info and bring it to your other machine. Send it via email and after awhile (who knows how long last time for me it was 10 mins, this time its been over hour and still not yet) they will send you a Sig.bin file to put into your GC2 directory (so yes you will need something to use to transfer file, disk or USB storage or something) This system to me is wor
I agree, same promblem I have. I mean a couple of people come on these boards and complain a few times about a feature in game, maybe if we Non Internet users complain enough they will change this. I mean When You have the Dam Retail Disk in your hands and installed from that, this crap should not have to happen. Download version I can undeerstand though.
I agree, even though it really only effects us Non Internet users its a pain. If I had internet I wouldnt care. What ticks me off the most is that I can understand the need to do this when I downloaded the GAME from them. But to have to do the same thing when I have a the Retail Disk Version now is wrong. Even with the Retail CD Code? Oh man.... Yes Brand new windows Installed so I guess I have to go thru it all again. I will install it tonight then and send code tommorow for I can play it tommorow at least. But I didnt have problems with 1.0X and played it for about 2 hours last night, it only asked once for code, and that was when I installed it.
