Hello guys, we are aware of the issues with Offworld, and are actively investigating a solution. Thank you for all the detailed posts! For a workaround, see message below: As of July 7th, Unity's UNET service was discontinued, which completely broke multiplayer for Offworld. Apologies for picking up on that so late and not having any plan in place to deal with it, but we'll look to get something working again as soon as possible. In the meantime, single player remains funct

Hey, it does sound like a bug, and I have communicated it to the team!
Hey, do you happen to get this notification when hitting play in steam, or in the launcher? Have you maybe disabled the launcher in the past? There have been issues with the newest windows update, which no longer allows some of the steam options for all of the games
Hey, the influence radius should be roughly the cube root of the planetary influence value. And tourism income uses following formula: (wealthFlat + tourismIncome) * (1 + wealthBonus% - min(crime%,100%)) * taxRate. TourismIncome is root(Hexfields) * tourism%. Hope this helps!
Hey guys, thanks for all the detailed feedback and ideas. I am eager to hear, what other players think!
Hey, probably they are getting ahead due to their higher population. So easiest solution - reduce their population [e digicons]}:)[/e] As Xeloxi, it's to be expected to fall behind in population comparetively. But as you are warriors, you should play to your strength.
Hey! It looks like there is an issue with the installation folder of galciv. I would recommend reinstalling the game, and potentially disabling the antivirus. Please, let us know, if this helps!
Hey, the "R" there is not a preset hotkey, so it could be just an unhappy coincidence, that it spelled this out for you. You can change the hotkeys to whatever you prefer. And I will communicate this to the team.
Hey, thanks for sharing the life hack! Does it say on steam, near play button, that it's installing some microsoft redistributables?
I’ve dabbled in Sins 2 PvP and I like the strategic depth, but the length of games is a real hurdle. It takes forever to get to the “fun” part, and by the time you're fully invested, someone desyncs or drops and ruins the whole flow. RTS PvP also tends to bring out a competitive mindset I just don’t always enjoy.
Hey, what's the stage is the "fun" part? Full T5 upgrades, or would yo
Hey, it sounds like you resolved the issue. But to be safe - you can enable full map vision, by clicking on a small icon at the bottom, where the timeline bar is. And yeah, you can switch between players, which will also allow you to see how opponents research techs, etc
Hey, could it be, that you have increased taxes while researching such a bigger technology? If approval rating of population falls (could be many reasons, but tax is the most common one), your research will also fall
Hey, having majority of culture in a sector gives a lot of prestige points. This can be used, not only to get ahead, but also to throw someone down from the first place. You can push their culture either through conquest, or culture starbases. Conquest overall is a great tool to hinder score of your ai opponents, as it takes away points in fleet strenght, production, etc. Just make sure to win, and not lose in a war :D
Hey! It actually already exists. You can create your own maps with Solar Forge! Here is a guide for you: https://wiki.sinsofasolarempire2.com/space/SSEFW/2222784519/Map+Creator+Guide+-+Solar+Forge
Hey, thanks for a detailed report. I will check with the team's vision on this issue.
Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback! I will share it with the team
Hey, I believe the serpent race you are talking about are Vasari, who are already in the game. Or maybe you remember some mod. In that case, you'd need to ask the mod creator. But we also have plans for a 4th faction ;) https://store.steampowered.com/app/3195300/Sins_of_a_Solar_Empire_II__Harbinger/
Hey, we are investigating this issue. Could you share a few screenshots, so that we can confirm if it's the same bug, or something different is meant.
Hello thank you for the feedback! The google translation is good enough, to understand what you wanted to say! :)
Update: we were able to resolve it :)
Hey, could you share your modded map, so that I can take a look at the structure? You can do so with tools like dropbox, or join our discord :) https://discord.gg/sinsofasolarempire
And Drath think they are robots? lol
Hey, thanks for the reports! In this playthrough, were you a robot civ yourself, by any chance?
Hey, thanks for the detailed feedback! Quell is indeed a very strong ability, but it has it's weaknesses, which I would like to clarify. Quell cannot target ships. It affects only structures. Since Quell has limited radius, your best strategy would be to build defences with space inbetween structures. A starbase is very tough to take down, but your real defensive DPS comes from turrets, so space those out, and you will already see a significant difference. Revelation d
Hey, yes, that's a bug. Thanks for finding it :)
Hey, thanks for the feedback, I will share it with the team. In the meantime, you could use a workaround: Go into %userprofile%\Documents\My Games\GalCiv4\Designs and delete the old designs you no longer want anymore, directly in that folder.
