Plenty of Republicans that believe that people can take better care of themselves than the government can but that the government is still needed to oversee things. I think a big part of this issue is protecting people from having negative stuff pop up about them when someone goes on google and types in their name. You can certainly get your point across without naming names. You can link to the offending blog. You maintain your freedom to express your feelings. You just have to do it in a reasonable manner. dharma and NickyG, I'm with you gals. There is a difference between love and like. There is a difference between dislike and hate. You can feel dislike without feeling hate or malice. Maybe that is too subtle for you but it is pretty blatant to me. Also, for the record, I don't share JeremyG's feelings but I do see a difference between him saying he doesn't like a group as opposed to him hating them.

I am a total Carboholic but you are right King, couple of weeks into it I stopped having the cravings. The only thing I don't feel it is worth giving up is coffee. You are right again that being consistent is key. If you make even the smallest change like not using mayo or using fat free dressings and you do it consistently, you will see results.
