I would like to know the magic mirror you looked into that told you that we would not have gone to war if Kerry had been president. I don't think you can say that with any amount of credibility since Kerry has been all over the place about his stance on that subject. Ah, isn't it nice to play armchair quarter back and say, "If I were president I would/wouldn't have done _____" Now that a couple of years have passed since 9/11, people seem to have su

I once went to do something outside, put the cordless phone on the bumper of the car and forgot about it. My hubby went to get something from the store and we never saw that phone again I get most of my exercise going up and down stairs because I go up, forget what I went up for, go back down, remember, repeat.

Very cool! I remember making igloos and tunnels back in the 70s. Had a lot more snow then. Kenny is such a doll! Kazuko's hair looks nice. I went from long to short hair with my first baby. Much less drying time Glad you share these pictures. Lots of fun to see. Best wishes.

It was a severe sinus and ear infection. Got some antibiotics and some sleep. Feeling much better. Thanks so much for the well wishes. Matt, I can attest to the wonders of foot massage. You are right, it is especially helpful for tension headaches.

Please enlighten me on the real issue of the lawsuit at hand. I guess I am naive. This article said quite clearly to me that the reality of partial birth abortion is being sought. They may confirm what doctors are claiming. How do I know that it is true if there are not documents showing case scenarios? What is the problem if there is nothing to hide? If the names and personal info are taken off the records, how is Big Brother watching?

Jamie, I totally agree with you. I think Simon's arrogance makes his criticism a bitter pill but he tends to be right. He knows what will sell and what won't and that is what this is about. There is a big difference between good and good enough. I think Randy and Paula are started to follow Simon's lead and have become more critical this time around.

smartaz, you beat me to it! I saw the same thing. I watched because my Mom and said a teacher said coke could dissolve a tooth. MythBusters showed that it didn't. They did show that it is fairly good at removing spots on bumpers.

My bad day started at 2:30AM on Thurs. My 3yr old woke up throwing up in the hall. Poor little guy continued throwing up every 30mins, almost like clockwork until 9:30AM. He would wake up, throw up, be wide awake for a few minutes and then basically pass out for about 15 more minutes and then repeat. It was a very long day to say the least. I talked to the pediatrician and she basically said I was doing the right things and to bring him in if it continued pass 8hrs. He slept well l

Doesn't make a difference to me. I'm a stay-at-home Mom. I rarely know what day of the week or month it is anyway :) I only look forward to Sat and Sun mornings when I don't have to wake up to that stupid alarm! I do work part time but the difference I make wouldn't even get one of your tires changed ;)

Thank you Sherye. I know the chances are very small that it will happen but it is one of those things you could never live with. I like my children to be friendly to people when I am present but cautious when I'm not. My 3yr old gave me a scare in Home Depot a couple of weeks ago. He can quickly disappear into a pallet of lawn supplies and thinks he's funny when he doesn't answer my frantic calls. He is giving me grey hair! He is so sweet

I have really enjoyed hearing about different lives of people of different countries, ages, religions, etc. I don't run with a very diverse crowd here in stay-at-home-mommy land I know enough to know that I want to know more The day you stop learning is the day you stop living as far as I am concerned. I tota

Netstarman, Brad was being sarcastic in response to Wahkonta's saying that we went to Somalia to defend Bush's oil well. I think what you said is aimed at WA and rightly so. Well said. I have many members of family that fought bravely for freedom all over the globe. People who have a problem with the Oil thing are the same people always moping that life isn't fair. It isn't fair but you have to have oil if you want to drive. I know a lot of peopl

Muggaz, just read your comment on that other article. Emerill Legassi is a famous chef with a cooking show. Every time he "kicks it up a notch" with spices, he yells "BAM!" Just imagined you thinking "this will kick it up a notch...BAM!!"

I realize that there is business behind the site but that doesn't mean that it has to be provided for free or in such a nicely done manner. My outrage was inspired by the articles accusing Brad of censoring and the weird one comlaining about him being everywhere. I don't, as he doesn't, have any problem with people stating their criticisms or disagreements. I am just saying, don't attack and don't accuse if you don't know what you are talking about. Be constructive. And that is al

I am one that has never taken points from anyone....yet I do give points for insightful or interesting articles. I really don't keep track of my points but would notice if I dropped all of the sudden.

See, doesn't that drive you crazy when there isn't a fever? My kids rarely ever get a fever and the doctors give me a hard time about bringing them in if they don't have a fever. I think parents just know when something is wrong and doctors shouldn't question that. Glad the little guy is breathing better. Kids bounce back from stuff a lot faster than adults. We once had an intestinal virus (people say stomach flu) that all 4 of us got. Th

The murder of 11yr old Carlie has given me a stomach ache since it happened. I have two young children and now my heart jumps every time they are out of sight for any amount of time. To have seen her actual abduction on tape and then have her end up murdered is just something I am having a hard time dealing with. Recently I came across a group called Kidz Idz. They go around to places like Chuck E Cheese and finger print your children for free so you can keep it on file. They were o

I felt compelled to write this because of all of the recent ragging on Brad that I have seen. Funny thing is, I am quite certain these people would handle things quite differently if it were in person. I feel for Brad because he is providing a very nice service that some ignorant people think is just free for them to tread all over. Brad is a very busy business owner. He enjoys blog sites and felt he could provide a good one. I feel he has done an excellent job. People can come her

Sounds like good news. Hope it works out long term! The pig thing struck me funny because my son's 1st grade class is celebrating "Pig Month". They are making piggie shirts, pig snouts to wear and they are going to eat sundaes from a trough. I will think of you whenever he wears his piggie shirt :)

I'm with KarmaGirl, find somewhere else. I don't know what your problem would be with the name Brad. If having the owner of the site control content on his site makes you paranoid, seek counseling. I think everyone on this site has a wonderful opportunity to use this free resource. You can blog about absolutely anything you want if you make it a private blog. Go ahead, cuss, call people names, vent all you want just make it private so you don't c
