Making a big deal out of it is exactly what J Jackson, Justin Timberlake and MTV wants. The world seems happy to oblige. Personally, I could hardly tell what I saw at first. I don't know about all of the other claims but I definitely buy the type 2 diabetes prevention. My Dad is the only one out of 6 siblings that doesn't have type 2 diabetes. He is also the only one that drinks about a pot or 2 of coffee a day.

I was flipping channels a couple days ago and came across a new show on VH1. It is called "Bands Reunited" and I am totally surprised at how much I am intrigued by it. There is something exciting about their quest to track down these band mates and try to get them to come together once again. Would you whine if you had to pay 54% higher rates for your cable TV, electricity, water, etc than the person next door? I bet you would. What is the difference between that and making any part of our society pay 54% of the taxes when they are getting the same, if not less service in return. Noone is arguing not doing their part. Locamama, you are so right. If anyone thinks it is frustrating now to get in to see the doctor, just imagine what it would be like in the hands of the government ! I wore both of my boys around until they got too heavy. I even shoveled snow with a 12month old on my back. They both loved it. My favorite thing was the sling though. Day Runners are awesome! I have a regular one on my desk at home and a mini one in my car. Marriage and kids makes extra curriculars much more difficult to schedule in. I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world though. Your list sounds like very realistic, healthy goals. Best wishes.
