Here is a Start Menu docklet: https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=2373&LibID=29 I haven't found any solutions for entirely getting rid of the taskbar that worked for me (I use a lot of quick-launches) ObjectDock Plus allows multiple docks, while the freeware version only allows one running instance.

This would be a good place for that "beating head against the wall" gif.
None of these Stardock applications can be installed without first installing Stardock Central. Edit: Those Stardock apps cannot be installed without first installing Stardock Central.
No themes, windowblinds, or icon packages will work without having Stardock software (Windowblinds, IconPackager, etc...or the whole Object Desktop suite of software) installed. None of these Stardock applications can be installed without first installing Stardock Central. As was stated above, if you have a problem with SD Central, or any other Stardock app, post it here, or send an email to [email protected]. Pretty
CAT 5 can be run up to a max length of 100 meters (328 feet) Unless you have a really big house, you should be fine.
The review in Ars Technica (link posted in another thread) said it was pretty much lacking in features found in more popular IM clients. No group chat. No file send capability. No emoticons. No view of previous conversations. No skinning. (that one might kill it for WC folks) It is supposed to have good integration with Gmail, and they were able to open it under Trillian. There's also no current Linux or OSX versions
You could post your problem in the Stardock Support section of this forum. Maybe someone else has had the same problem and knows a fix. (Or you could just post it here, since you already have an open thread.)
Don't forget that microfilm and microfiche were once considered the heighth of technology. Computerization is just the latest step. I still feel that nothing replaces a good book, though I've been reading more e-books lately. My two kids (10 and 13) still prefer paper books to e-books. Our trips to the library are looked forward to. Reppik, I've worked in printing for the last 20 years. The internet has cut into the print market somew
Sounds like very early beta. A review was posted at Ars Technica. http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20050824-5234.html
I had trouble for a long time with any skin by dannilloc (I probably just butchered his screen name....)and a few other skinners' work. I would get all kinds of lines through the systray area. I finally emailed him, and it pretty much came down to the video drivers. Thankfully the catalyst drivers released a few months ago fixed that problem. I know they released a new set a couple weeks ago, but I don't want to mess things up again, so I'm
I use an ATI card. Makes me wonder if it could be some kind of conflict with the Nvidia drivers. You could check for the latest drivers, otherwise you might just have to shut down OD when watching movies. I know I usually shut it down when playing games, just to free up more memory and cycles for the game.
Never had any issues here with PowerDVD, WinDVD, or any others. What kind of video card do you have?
IN a business, where all data is SUPPOSED to be stored on network storage devices Once a user loses their data, they usually get much better about saving to the network shares. Of course, there are some people who are just never going to grasp the concept of saving to anywhere but to their desk
The folder icons aren't changed I ran into that with LS. Jafo explained that IconPackager can't change all the Explorer icons when Explorer has been replaced. ....or something like that.
It all depends on how bad the level of "infection" is, whose PC it is, and how much they need their data. I usually try to clean it up first, but sometimes people's PCs are so overwhelmed with virii/malware that all you can do is save whatever data you can, and reload Windows. At work we tell everyone to save all their work to the network shares, so if anything happens to their workstation they don't lose their work. We keep ghos
DevilJacko- Any chance of posting a screenshot of your running processes? I would still suggest a spyware and virus scan, if you haven't already done so. (Thanks for the dll list, Bichur. I bookmarked that one)
drwtsn32.exe is Dr. Watson. http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/drwtsn32/ rundll is a Windows system process on Windows 95, 98, and ME. If you're using Win2K or WinXP as your OS, and you have this running, it is a trojan. http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/backdoor.schoolbus.b.html If you're trying to run Windoblinds on WinME or 98, then you will need an earlier version of Windowb
* I use it on my dual Opteron development server Did you have to compile your kernel to get it to run on the dual processors?
Yeah, cause you're using Xandros.
You need to install XP. .(period.) I would not suggest doing the ME to XP upgrade. That rarely ends well. Buy a copy of XP (you can get some pretty good deals on OEM versions) save all your important files, pics, etc...to CD or external drive, reformat and install XP. WinME is th
As much as I see that Linux has some definite advantages over Windows (File structure, stability) and I like the whole open source approach, I found that the applications that I needed just weren't there. After the initial install and some configuring, I found I was almost always booting into Windows. Eventually I always need the disc space back, and the Linux partition is the most dispensable. I hated to lose the Suse partition (just reclaimed
aimzzz, The best Linux that I used was Suse. You can do an FTP install using only a boot disc to make the FTP connection. I imagine you could use your USB drive as the boot disc if you want to. Check out this site for instructions for the SuSe 9.2 ftp install: http://support.novell.com/techcenter/tips/10028.html You are going to need to download the boot cd first. Here is the site link that I used to receive the i
Are you dragging a shortcut (right way) onto the dock, or the actual program? (wrong way) Have you tried making a new shortcut on the dock (Configure Dock>New>Shortcut) and then pathing it to the Deer Park executable?
