Oh, and it drives me bonkers when the small and large spoons/forks are mixed together in the silverware drawer. They must be organized according to size.

Another one I thought of was the toilet paper roll. I have to have the paper hanging off the back of the roll, down the wall, not the front. I've been known to surreptitiously change the roll around at other people's houses because it aggrivates me so much. In our house I'm the only one who ever puts the roll on the holder, so
So is the new scoring system going to take into account comments and such on skins over on WC? Just making sure I am reading the above correctly.
I love PC gaming. Really. I do. I promise. Or am I just trying to convince myself? Cause, see, I really don't play games that much anymore. I try to. I download some demos these days, but many I cancel even before I finish downloading the file. Not too long ago I downloaded anything and everything and at least gave it a go. One of my favorite ridiculo
The song "Superholic" by Engine is fantastic running music. But I have to admit, my music tastes aren't nearly so varied as yours.
Eventually BlueDev your brain figures it out though .. It sure does. The word that seemed the most "off" to me was Phenomenal. Looking over it again though, I think it was due to the all caps thing.
Thanks for the comments. Ravenblack - When I remind my classmates that when my wife and I are 50 our children will be grown and gone then they don't think it is such a bad idea. Angloesque-That had always been one of my concerns about practicing medicine. And while it is something we are prepared for, I won't deny that in choosing my specialty that will be something of a factor. Right now I am planning on Urology (which is what my r
Some of the words are a little more difficult to pick out than others, but it is an interesting idea.
My classmates and I are celebrating. We are now third year medical students at Duke. Many of use are doing research, and actually working normal hours. After our clinical year, the thought of working normal 40-50 hour work weeks is scrumptious. Simply delectable. And the anthem many of us have been repeating daily is "No call for ten months!" However, I
I love having the big icons included as I export them and use them in other programs (AveDesk, IconX, ObjectDock+). Just my 2 cents.
Welcome to the time consuming world of OS customization DryPenguin! I am a relative newbie myself so I still find myself spending hours looking for the next best skin. And definately check out the things in the full Object Desktop subscription. I think it is more than worth it. Desktop X has some amazingly cool things for it. Even IconX is great for making your icons look cool. And Iconpackager is amazing. Well worth it. <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/inde
Iben, when I created mine I used the same name (bluedev.wincustomize.com and bluedev.joeuser.com) and it merged my Joeuser site into my wincustomize one. My guess is that no matter what name you use, since they are under the same account, it will merge your Joeuser account into the wincustomize one. Just a guess though.
Joe, just head over to Wincustomize.com and click on the library for whatever category you want, ie Logons, Bootskins, etc. At the top, before they are all listed, is a place you can search for whatever key words you want. Try it, you might like it.
Gee, the baby of the group. That sounds like fun! I better go find something irresponsible to do.
Bob - could you put the link to the exact one you downloaded? Then we could look exactly at what is/isn't part of it and perhaps help a bit more.
Not really a skinner (yet!), but feel free to stop by. http://bluedev.wincustomize.com
Nothing really interesting here Tex. I am a Stardock customer and visit Wincustomize.com often (neurotically really, multiple times a day). Because I was a customer and had an account already set up with Stardock and Wincustomize I basically had one over here already. I just had to click on the little ad over at WC and I was here and set up my account. That is about it.
Come on Dharma, I get hassled by my classmates for being older all the time (tack on the fact that not only am a 3-4 years older than them, but I have 2.5 children and they really think of me as old). I gotta feel like the youngster sometimes. Please?!?
Congrats mignuna! Hope it is a good one and you see many more enjoyable, happy years. BTW, I love hanging out here with you "older" folks. Makes me feel a little younger!
Ah the joys of sea monkeys. Imagine my disappointment, after seeing countless pictures of them with their crowns and tridents in my comic books, to actually get some and find they were little, slimy, shrimp things. I was scarred for life. Well, okay, maybe that was a bit strong.
I think Das Kaffinator hit the nail right on the head. I haven't had a chance to try The Sims 2 yet, but my wife and I spent many, many hours with the original (and far too many expantion packs!). The fun was figuring out how to best get them up the career ladders, how to keep them happy, how to throw a successful party, how to take one guy living in a bachelor pad, get him married to the girl down the street, have a family and become successful mill
What are 'gui 'skinners''? GUI = Graphical User Interface. Skinning = Changing the way it looks. That is to say, folks who create new ways for the boring old Windows desktop to look. New colors, new buttons, new menus. Pretty fancy stuff. I have written a couple articles on it with some pic
Arrr, me hearties! Today be t' day! Me hopes ye all been talking like pirates and swashing every buckle ye finds. Bloody Roger Bonney
Good to see you back! I was beginning to wonder. Oh wow, the Uintahs are magnificent. A truly fabulous place to go. That is unless you plan on crossing Red Knob pass and Deadhorse pass in the same day. While it is snowing. In July. And you start to slide down a glacier. Then they get a little less beautiful and a little more imposing. Seriously though, I have to admit. I miss Utah. Not all the time, and not everything about i
so she decided that she would make me one on her computer... could that be why we have the same IFp thinger?. No, that would only have worked for the very first time you posted. See, here is the thing. Every time "Ashlee" connects to the internet her computer is assigned and IP address. This is a spe
