Well, it's a cold, and he's not coming home today. THe weather's too bad for the plane to take off, so it's been delayed 24 hours. if it's not bad then, the plane will leave. if it's still bad, it gets delayed another 24 hours. SNAFU...no surprise there.... On the brig

This is one of the things I found so appalling about the Yates case. I truly believe, from what I have seen and read, that if Russell Yates had been the husband he should have been (supporting his wife, changing diapers, helping with the kids' schoolwork, etc), then that horrible tragedy could have been avoided. Russell Yates is, in my opinion, the guilty one in that ca
They're back. Apparently, word got back to them that I had called his supervisor, because 'stupid girl' came out of her house as I was walking down the street to get my mail, pointed at me, and yelled across the street to her friend "I am sooo holding my tongue! She'd better be glad I'm doing that, because she wouldn't like what I have to say!" <

(Posting two today, since JU wouldn't let me post articles yesterday. :( ) Genesis 11:1-9 Now the whole world had one language and a common speech. As men moved eastward, they found a plain in Shinar and settled there. They said to each other "Come, let us make bricks and bake them thoroughly." They used brick instead of stone, and tar for mortar. Then they said "Come, let us build ourselves a city, with a tower that reaches to the heavens, so that we
Genesis 8 1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and the livestock that were with him in the ark, and he sent a wind over the earth, and the waters receded. 2 Now the springs of the deep and the floodgates of the heavens had been closed, and the rain had stopped falling from the sky. 3 The water receded steadily from the earth. At the end of the hundred and fifty days the water had gone down, 4 and on the seventeenth day of the seventh month the a
Very well said, Gideon...I see way too many examples these days of people claiming to speak for God who don't seem to have a CLUE what He's really saying! And that just makes life harder for those who are trying to muddle through and live our lives in the most Christian way we know how, as the mere mention of the word "Christian" suddenly has all sorts of negative connotations.
It's JMHO, Karen, but any "church" that condones that sort of behavior....heck, that apparently ENCOURAGED it...is not one that is standing on the teachings of Christ, no matter what they claim.
There's just a lot of people that don't agree with me and Capt. and they'd like to argue with us. And then the whole teen bashing is just simply me and Capt. and a few others are getting bashed and it all seems that we're all teens that are getting bashed for our Christianity. That's basically it. And with the whole moment of silence. It's turned into something wi
I explained why your efforts here are fruitless awhile ago. You "are" shouting at a wall. I'm going to have to agree, and I think I'm going to bow out now, unless I see some real debate start up....
That reminds me of the time I was staying in this hotel and the guy above me set his alarm clock for two hours earlier than he had to leave then proceeded to press snooze every 10 minutes -- beginning at 4 A.M. That was a fun week. I just don't get people like that. Try being MARRIED to a person like that....I spent way too many years n
Oh, this would SO be grounds for murder....you could say you were driven insane by the interruption of your much-needed sleep, and the inability to go BACK to sleep after being awakened....it could work, I'm sure it could!
Zoo....I'm a hopeless romantic...so I'm ALWAYS in a "love mode"....
According to standard Catholic doctrine (and most Christian ones too, I believe) you are born in a state of sin. I've always been taught that we are born free from sin, and that we don't reach the age of accountability till 12.... <TD class="m
I disagree. It may not be in the Bible, but there is a clear difference between, for example, a "little white lie" and a lie that scams grandma's life savings off of her and causes her house to be foreclosed on. There's a difference between slapping someone in anger and lying in wait to shoot them 6 times in the head. It's a fairly obvious scale, though clearly it is op
The reason is because MAN chose to be this way. God hasn't created anything that is not perfect. It's all been man's doings. He didn't create people he finds offensive, it's the exact oposite. Man "created" people that God doesn't find favor in. Nope...if that were true, then there would come a moment in each of our lives when we could say tha
Let's Last Forever by Blayr Wanted so bad, It's been so long, A feeling like this, A feeling so strong. Late night talks, Moving so fast ... We need to slow down, I want this to last. Put your trust in me, And let your feelings go, I won't let you down I just want you to know. We've both been hurt, It only made us stronger, Now let's do things right, And make this last forev
I love to send letters. I send letters to my friends, my family and my husband. Always send your letters through the mail. It makes people smile. When I write letters to my husband, I age them. I get fine paper. I brew a VAT of black tea, or sometimes coffee, but I find that black tea works best. You pour the tea on a baking sheet and rest the papers in the tea for 15 minutes, one at a time. Hang them above your sink to dry (be careful, tea will stain tile and counter tops). Use a lighter to LIG

The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time. The Lord was grieved that He had made man on the earth, and His heart was filled with pain. So the Lord said "I will wipe mankind, whom I have created, from the face of the earth--men and animals, and creatures that move along the ground, and birds of the air--for I am grieved that I have made them." But Noah found favor in the
I think that the should separate the church from the state. I just thought of something. I am totally for having a praying time durring school Dude, that is so awesome. I'm in on it too. Maybe we could all do it a lunch or something. Good idea! Ashley...don't you see the double standard here? One second you are saying you a
For You by Bryan Westbrook Don't be afraid, my love. Never have doubt in me. I know time will numb the pain Of not having you to see. Can I have just one more kiss? Can we make love to say "Farewell?" I hope you understand What's here is special. Then again, I guess, Only time will tell. I wish that you were here with me. I'd hold you close to me every night. Something inside me has to b

This would be a great idea to celebrate an anniversary, birthday, or an other special occasion. Write or compile a collection of poems, haikus, acrostics, etc., for your loved one. Print them all out and bind them into a self-published book of poetry. Include pictures of the two of you during your time together, and create an original cover as well.
