I am trying to get away from my pet peeves, they just waste my time. I had a counselor once who said, "it might be convenient for everyone else if you were perfect. But you're not."

The existentialists think of faith as a leap in the dark. What faith is in the Christian sense is faith in the authority of scripture and in the reality of Jesus Christ. Science has come along and questioned the existance of Christ and historical criticism has questioned the authority of scripture. But some questions actually have answers. Jesus says that you will know them by their fruit. Proof isn't scientific in the sense that you can prove tha

Janders, I worked with a woman on a school parent project. When I asked about her children, she included the one who had been killed. It did not make me feel uncomfortable, it just make me feel sad for her and helped me realize how death may take the child away from your presence, but not your heart. When I was writing a story on a woman who lost her child, I looked it up on the internet. Several people had websites dedicated to their dead chil

The things that you have written here indicate that you have no one that you trust. Without someone to trust you'll never find someone to open your heart to. I'm sure that you have good reasons not to trust those around you. You may have never met someone who is trustworthy. So you are in one of those damned if you don't and damned if you do situations. I wish that I could point out to you someone in your world who is trustworthy, but the only pa

It's a heavy burden being perfect, just be you. When you've gotten on your own two feet, then move out of Fort Worth. There is a big world out there and you might find some place better for you.

All three of my children used used computer paper to draw on. They would draw for hours. My favorite picture drawn by my son was of a rabbit wearing headphones. My daughters drew twin girls with bright green eyes. They did have coloring books, but ignored them most of the time. We did other fun things too. At Christmas we made the decorations out of candy and another year out of paper. My grandchildren are too active to enjoy drawing a

Even though we are on the same side politically, I don't agree with your article. One of the strangest things I saw when I visited the Supreme Court building was the ten commandments decorating the court room. Church doesn't always help you raise good kids, but a good youth group saved my son. Both conservatives and liberals have values, but religious people tend to have stronger values that non religious people. There are hypocrites among all sorts

Muggaz you are very popular with almost everyone here. Humor is popular, but hard to do. I am a serious writer, sometimes I an intense, other times, I just write boring mundane things. Being provocative will get you on the front page.

I wish that I wasn't so intense. But I am. I have felt hatred. But I know that intensity always carries with it something that is not good. On the other hand, I wonder if those who form movements such as MADD would have done it without a lot of intense emotion. As a mother, I cannot stand to see my children suffer. Even worse is to consider them suffering at the hands of another person. You are fortunate not to feel intensely, but I wonder if th

I have a friend who is overweight by any standard. She is always being hit on by guys. This what she does. She wears nice clothes that fit a little tight. She has blonde hair that is always groomed. She wears makeup with eyeliner on the bottom. She is friendly to everyone and has that fliracious look. She is pretty but not beautiful. So if you want what she has, then don't leave the house without fixing your hair, your makeup and dressing well.

No matter what they say, children want their moms to look and act like moms. Especially when they are older. My son would be embarrassed when I wored mocassins. And if you live near an air force base, the other children's moms are probably more conservative than you are. That's just a guess. Possibly someone at school said something about you and they were embarrassed. They'll get over it. As long as you are a good mom and a loving wife, th

Brad, I am married, I did have a child out of wedlock. I do not receive government assistance at this time. I am a liberal. I am not employed but I did write a book which is selling. All that I do for people is not paid for by anyone else but our family.
