I use Skinstudio Classic and as far as msstyles I'm trying to convert Vista versions. Before switching to Vista I rarely had problems. Perhaps SS is not capable of converting in Vista 64?

Disappearing cursor problem in Stardock Support General WinCustomize Forums

I suffered from the disappearing cursor problem recently to the point where I was going to dump Cursor XP (bought several years ago) -- it was looking like a sad day. I too have the "disappearing" cursor dilemma. It seems to have begun within the last 2 weeks. Perhaps there is something in WB 6 code that is not working well CursorXP? Has anyone found a fix? Frustrated in RoseCity.

WinCustomize does have the high res pics but not streaming video! ...add video Seriously, why $20 and not $10? Try that new retail software in the news last week to determine the right price. Laoran, Not all owners of ATI cards are having problems; my system runs great (Radeon 9700 128mb) My only issues revolve around msstyles not showing up on the WB selector. My workaround is to apply via Skinstudio. I'm sure the Stardock team will fix this eventually. If interested, I'll trade my 9700 for your ATI X850XT Platium Edition </font

...just a thought on the subscription price.. you might consider the "fast nickle, slow dime" approach... $20 to renew might be a bit steep for those who flock here to download Windowblinds skins and other Stardock products only. I would suggest an annual $5 subscription for everyone except those who contribute XX amount of new skins, themes etc. Maybe you could issue credits for quality uploads. Ok, sweetness ... the newest version of WB fixed StefanKa's button alignment. I now have the scrollbar button (ends) and progress animation problems to tackle. Any idea if the WB team knows about the animation and scrollbar issues?

Christer, Try removing all version of Lucida Grande from your system (fonts folder) ... double check to see that all are removed by closing down and reopening. Then download Steve's file again and copy his version of Lucida Grande into your fonts folder. See if that works. His version is slightly different than some floating around. Hope this helps.

I've encountered several skins lately that exhibit the same problem. They all have weird effects going on during a progress bar animation (like Outlook send/recieve) It's as though the bar is not aligned with the skin? Some skins are fine while others are just awful or plain just black lines. Please note this is not the same animation one sees during a file copy or delete; those animations work fine. Dimage, I imported the shell style through Skinstudio via "tools -> windowblinds -> import shellstyle" Stefanka labeled his folders nicely so there's no confusion as to which shell goes to which subskin. I'd love a copy of your work. Is your link above good for your "fixed" scrollbars?
