Differences between scores in the end of the game and in metaverse in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

At the end of the game we all see our scores for instance 20,837 points. Submitting the game to Metaverse it doesnt add same ammount to your personal scoring. In this case it did add aprox. 7,000.I find this frustrating. Does anybody understands why is this different?! :notsure: :notsure: So whats the point of getting 20 grands,in first place, when you cant even get a half of it?? [Message Edited]

And here again...my diplomacy skills helped me to bargain that they would be attacked by Yor, to weaken both of civs, ;)

it happens to me too, i personally think its because the route is too old or something like that, (run out of turns[you can see smth like 43/203 turns]so it must have been that all 203 turns were gone). So I just kill that route and open another one. Its the best thing to do. [Message Edited]

Taxation may vary from time to time in the game without any accedents. But it ussually happens for 1-3 turns and then comes back slowly but it come back to normal. Also there is an event like ...it says something about decrease in taxation... so it could be that. Was anybody paying you a tribute or anyone asked for it? Same as Star Pilot i never had tht problem playing mostly the larger games :notsure:

I did got few bugs.. using 1.20 1)In the meddle of warfare i saw Altarian avatar heading towards my Terror Star with Attack abilities over 2,000,000 and Defence 20,000,000 Unfortunetly i dont have saved game. 2) Sometimes in the middle of the game, it switches itself off. And i have to start it again from Autosave. This occurs quite often. For example, my latest Gigantic game. I had to start over and over again from autosave about 5-6 times.

i dont know but it might help. I do cheat a bit when it comes to surrendering.. when one race surrender i load autosave straight away... attack that race and offer her a "Peace Treaty" demanding few star systems (usually i demand the most populated ones and/or the smaller ones, with bigger ones in same sector). I know that the race soon is going to surrender and obviously it cultural rate is not that high to compit with yours.. so firstly you are going to see little pyrate sign and then hope

I am using anti-matter missiles only for eliminating Super Starbases with high defence... in some cases one missile is enough in some not... but it a lot cheaper to use few of those instead hole fleet to get rid of them... I couldnt tell which one is better Draednought or DeathKnight..i always built both bcoz one or another better for illing different targets..

Altarian Prophesy[beta] doesnt submit! in Galactic Civilizations I Stardock Forums

I've bought AP[b] on Stardock Central. Played a game wanted to submit it, but it said something like Scenario cannot be submitted because its still in beta testing... SO?!! can i do something or play in any other modes to submit the games... otherwise i am a bit discouraged to play... :((( Though AP[b] Is REALY COOL!! (:(
