the separate governer sliders would make the game more efficinet as you have pointed out, but could you image a whole planet packed with people only building ships and having no other industry and doing no research? Maybe in a imperial government, but not in a deomcracy where people have free choice. Hoever in the game all governemts are really a empire, i mean who still rules when they aren't elected? If the senators knew you wouldn't leave office why would they vote against your party and p

Another good solution would be after having researched and build the stock exchange, would be able to set your social production to "investing" or "buy stocks" or something that would give cash or start gathaering interenst on the the money you have in the bank. The more stocks, the higher the interest rate.

so if i invade a race with a trade good and kill them off am i assured of at least getting the tradegood benefits? How does that work anyway with the techs, do i get all of the techs that a race has that i don't have when i invade? Or at least invade their last system?

When it says that trade goods and wonders can only be for one race, is that for the entire game? What i mean is that say a race develops a TG, then i destroy their entire race, can someone else now research it? What if a galactic wonder get destroyed? Can another now be built. Also, say a minor get diplo translators before me, i obviously want it and don't want anyone else to trade for it. If i can't afford to trade for it, can i invade and just take it? If i do, will i b

Thanks, i escpecially like the trading for troops. I do take the troops off the big planets first, but when i bleed them dry then i start on the smaller planets. The best solution i had was once i invaded two systems and a third system full of people in the same sector flipped to me, that system gave me enough troops to continue my invason for 3 more systems!

I love invading but I seem to always be limitied to running out of people for marines. I always try the traditional stuff like gettig the aphrodisiac trade good, the habibtat improvement and moral bonuses and such. Now i have a new plan, the population of a planet is not a real populaton but only tax players, so if i had a planet with 1 mil taxpayers and a moral of 60, i could max out the propaganda and then drop my tax rate to zero for one turn, then on the next turn, i hope more taxpaye

I can't stand wasting production, i would like like either to have "trade goods" for cash, or some other bonuse for the porodution or at least not have that cash wasted. Seems simple and logical, for now i just never stop buiding social improvements, sometimes buiding stuff that has more maintaince fees than i like or even stuff i don't need like morale improvements on planets with 100 morale already, hoping that it will come in handy in the future. By the way, when do the AIs sta

1) If i invade or flip a planet with a capital of some sort do i get to keep that even if i already have an identical one, or does it just vanish? 2) Sometimes i am able to trade with an AI on the same turn that i just conquered it, if i trade them techs, can they turn around and trade it to others before they vanish? 3) I picked the species attribute bravery once (it was cheap), and it seemed i was never attacked even though i had a next to no military, i now pick it every tim
