Now, with the long and winding road of wallpaper/gallery management options the present determination is that moderation [rejection] would be relaxed somewhat to enable more works to be accepted, albeit some going to the members' personal pages, an option less drastic than total rejection... Thats fair enough and if you still do not like where it was posted you still have the complete control to reject it yourself. This by delete of the skin/wallpaper or

Just wait till the next Windows comes out and no one will like it either. But they will still buy it ! That with Vista being completely fixed up by then ... no one likes anything new - it has too many bugs in it. But some people just love that kind of thing. It leaves room for growth... XP has about out done itself and is fastly getting old. Very soon now you will have to let go of the Explorer 6 and install 7. That is if you do updates and such. The word is that it is gona

Change the contrast by -1 number and retry it again... That for the image in question that is giving you the bad pixels. I use Photoshop or Paintshop Pro to do this and it works everytime. SGT

Do this here for me and lets see whats what. "Press the run button and cause the error. Then go to administrative tools/event viewer in either your start menu or classic control panel. View the errors in the event viewer and get the exact error and/or event from there in an xml view and copy and paste it here." I will see if it will help find the exact cause of why this is happening and if it can be fixed. SGT <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Cool.gif" border=0 a

Not all Vista user's can use CursorXP due to the fact that in some case's there are security settings with Vista. The which block the use of the program being written properly to the regs. If you have Vista Ultimate and know how to include programs to your group policy? Then there is no problems. This is not always the case with other Vista versions... thus with say Home Premium version it will sometimes work and in other case's it will not. To correct this you have to write your own permissions

Lantec... Does it matter what skin or shell style it is you are using? The mouseover colour for start menu items is incompatible with the start menu item mouseover image. You can have one or the other on XP. On Vista you get both. Thank you Neil Banfield - Now I can look at doing a slight change if I want that to work seems. Gona give it a try here today and see... You have saved my weekend for better things with your reply

Well no changes and it looks like I got an XP problem here and gona have a long weekend for a new install to fix this mess as usual... Never fails - I get a bug or something from one of the servers at work on here and it kills me. That and then I try to clean things up and ya away goes all kinds of stuff with the wash job too! Tomorrows a long day for XP here... but it will be worth it I hope??? SGT <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Cool.gif" border=0 align="abs

Hello everyone - maybe it's just me ... but seems I can't get the mouse over/focus color or the Hover color(wb3.x) in the programs or places list to work. Now this is strange... it will work in Vista ? But not with XP. Vista I found that you use a shade off with either places or programs and you get your hover and mouse over. Using exact colors for both and thats all you get... that one color. So tried it with XP and no results. I think it is in WB not SKS where the problem is and gona do a

Best thing to do is to email Stardock Support. If you get them your name and address they will send a tech to help you. Yep NT will be glad to come over and fix it for ya - right? I first got the shareware version. Same thing happens. Everything goes hay-wire. Then I tried cracking it and the same thing happens. I think it best someone that knows more about your computer should be making these type of p

What are the advantages and disadvantages? Those are that we get all the good deals on new updates and software for Object Desktop. And that comes with years of developements from which I must say has been something else. Or lets say pretty dang good and getting better every year. Starting with discounts for skins and other new products/software. Plenty of good support and a very good way of keeping your computer customized too!

I'd leave the dwm.exe alone - it is needed to run the desktop. But DSAgnt.exe and the 2 rundll32.exe has a host process running in it. That could be it - one of those or even maybe that nero home. If you are using the wrong nero or even got a bad install of nero - seems I've seen something along this same line with nero. Kill those one at a time and see what gives. If it is a rundll host process - you are gona have to find what starts it in the prefetch and or regs.[Not gona be easy being a
