RE5 is a great port. RE4 was a horrible port.
All Capcom ports are great (at least technically) on PC since they have started using MT Framework as engine (DMC4 was the first, many others are following).
RE5 is designed for a gamepad, and feels awkward with a mouse and keyboard. Do not confuse control mechanics with port quality!
That's absolutely not true. Game is far better played with mouse and keyboard and is honestly terrible with a g

...which, on the other hand, can count on two experienced developers like Brian Mitsoda and Annie, when Gareth instead still being an amateur at his first game production. Don't get me wrong. I'm looking with huge interest to all of them, but if I should bet on a promising game from ITS associates (beside AoD), then that will be without any esitation a bet on Doublebear's game.
Off topic: Is there any way to convince EA and similars to offer games to places like, let's say, Europe?
Sorry to say it, but Impulse is going to be more and more useless for an european customer. Very few games available for us, and mostly overpriced.
X-Com is a stratergy game - most of the game is about managment of resources, allocating them and building up your capabilities. This is why the later games failed, they focused more on 3D action and had less resources to do good stratergy.
That's even the reason cause Silent Storm, in spite of an amazing turn based combat, fails badly to match masterpieces like UFO and Jagged Alliance 2.

Try assassin's Creed. it'sa shitty game, but at least it looks nice. Same for Prince of Persia IV, or Farcry 2.... Well, about that... Ubisoft, isn't come the time to hire a decent game designer, maybe?

Well, luckily I can say I really don't care, cause I don't put in the web anything I'm not ok about "data gathering". It's like phone tapping: you know there's a chance, but you don't care too much if you're not a drug dealer, a mafia mademan or something. And if you are, well.... you can at least try to be smart enough to not talk about that kind of stuff on phone.
I'll try to hunt it down, but I won't use Google to locate the page... against my principles.
Jesus christ, that sounds like a mental sickness. Who do you think you are? And more than that, who do you think can damn cares about you? God, you can be at best just a little bunch of statistics for Google, nothing more. Do you really think they are going to hunt for your private garbage?
it would have been more accurate to have written: "sadly, the pricing imposed by publishers on the Impulse platform for european customers simply sucks"
Well, maybe they have to argue more about this, when they sign a contract. "Are you sure, mr publisher? Maybe you're going to lost many sells. Our customers really don't like regional pricing". I really like digital delivery for its conforts and all, but it's going worse and worse... Why d
So for European, except for Stardock product, there is only a small interest to buy on Impulse, you can often found a better offer somewhere else.
Damn right. And i hate this cause I really want to be a Stardock supporter. Just, do not feel stupid for that.
You clearly don't live in the EU.
Well, Stardock is going even worst, about this. I used to be a very fervent Impulse supporter, but their pricing for european customers simply sucks.

Yes, he has. He says it's far overpriced, not so good and tough and so on. With same moneys you can buy far better sticks. Well, that's his advice, at least.
Anyone tried these?
Not me, but some friend really experienced about beat'm up told me it sucks. Too expensive for its genuine value.

There is a mix of very good and very bad details in these screenshots. I love buildings; can't say the same about units (lone swordman, wolf, spider). Grassland texture looks very bad. Well, I guess it's going to be better and better in next months.
