Since this is crossposting to the GC2 forum, shoulda probably mentioned that Twilight of the Arnor is also in the running. It might not have the fan base of a Sins or C&C3, but we are a pretty avid bunch ;) .

I am glad to see single player getting the attention it deserves. I had preordered as much out of support for SD/GPG and their stances on gaming issues as anything, but was worried that I might not get much actual play out of it as I don't do multi. Good to see my fears quelled. Thanks Guys [e digicons][/e]
You'll want to go to the metaverse link(or your meta profile) and go to account/ edit charcters. You'll see a dim default button to the right of each char. under the edit buttons. Just click it to light it up and that charcter's medals will show for ya :) .
TA 2.0, Overlord, Bullet Candy(great little game especially for the price). Looking hard at World of goo. Looks pretty cool :)
Debug Message: Version v1.91 Twilight of the Arnor l
You should register and update your game to the latest version(currently 2.0) with Impulse and see if that solves some of your issues. Also 2.0 contains the updated manual for TA.
Great game Jeff! [e digicons][/e] Wheel of Time? Anything like Wheel of Fortune [e digicons][/e] . Actually, if it's a book series I think I read one once. It was one of the middle books though so I spent most the time trying to figure out what the hell was going on and then wasn't interested enough to try to get into the others.
Sounds like GPG may just like to play the field and get the best deal they can on a per game basis. Would of liked to have seen SD lock them in for all their titles though.
I've never needed to use the speed assist for DL so I have no personal experience of this but from what you and Sole Soul mentions I think that Inverse Tractor Beam is probably +2 instead of just +1 for a toal of +3 with both modules installed.
It was only +2 per base. The things I could of done with an +1 per SB ;) . They were speed 24 transports with a +48 from the SB array. Thing I remember about it was hitting a glitch for a few turns there where I could launch them
Yes they have been reduced some. I believe I've heard reports of TA Immense All Abundant maps having somewhere around 560 Planets. Newer DA versions gigantic all abundant around 720-760. Old DA versions up to 900+. I think it was due to the amount of out of memory errors people started getting when they introduced DA with that many planets that they have scaled back since.
One DA game I used a full array to launch transports at 72 moves. Invaded 163 planets in a turn that way :) . Fun Stuff.
Looks like SD just added one more forum to the list with the Elemental one for even more confusion. (This is posted from the GalCiv2 forums ;) )
You are the Man Mumble! If anyone could do it I would of put my money on you [e digicons][/e] Now i wonder if a little DA might be in your future ;) . Oh the things you would be able to do with that :)
'm a little confused as to what "Endless Universe" is? I thought it was the European release of GalCiv and ALL the expansions. Does it not include Dreadlords then?
Yep. It is a standalone version of Dark Avatar and Twilight without DreadLords.
Congrats on your latest 900k+ game Motti!
Wow! How'd you sneak that monster in without us noticing Motti [e digicons]:D[/e] . Just Awesome!! [e digicons][/e]
ahh ok, I get it now :) . No I don't follow politics and ignore any "promises" that a politician makes ;) .
Not to be a smart ass or anything and maybe I missed another thread somewhere, but what does Obama or the election have to do with purchasing games? Just wondering ;) . Edit: Oh yea! and a copy of Half Life 2: Episode 3, when it comes out :)
Always assume patching mid-game will ruin a save. It may not always be true, but why take the chance?
Yea, I usually assume the same. I wasn't particularly deep into the game so I went ahead and updated. Good news is the game loaded up fine and I checked the debug for cheat flags. Seems everything's a go :)
IT's showing, but it's asking me to uninstall TA before installing the patch.
Same here. I was wondering if it was asking everyone to uninstall first. I wonder if this will kill my 1.99 Meta game in progress.
Hope the cops dont see me mow my lawn or use my Bbq, Shit might blow up the neighborhood.
Reminds me of a funny story. 11hours of drinking(when I used to drink), two boxes of .22 shells and a BBQ grill. Needless to say I forgot a month later where I had put those bullets and started up my grill to find it making some deafening "pops" ;) . In a paranoid state I seemed to had hidden them in under the lava rocks. Luckily no part of my Porterhouse was harmed [e digicons]:g
Forget the whole christian/non-christian thing. Fact is they are a charity to help people, that should be first and foremost. If some that need help are now turned away due to their closemindedness, then who is really the bad guy there?

I love that guy's style [e digicons][/e] . Glad to hear about it coming to Impulse as well. I can wait :)
Is this the continuation of the Mod Metaverse MacMatt had developed? I know he's with I-Mod now so I assume it is. If so, I'm glad to see it hit primetime :) .
This is becoming the Duke Nukem Forever of AARs [e digicons][/e]
Qapla!
Guess that means even Klingons will go for a good BBQ :)
