As this topic shows, people like to make jokes about the iTampon more then use it.
Yea, I kind of wonder how many sales they are actually getting beyond the "I'll buy anything with an i in front of it" crowd.

It's at abandonia.com for DL. Not sure if it is totally legal as I've heard conflicting reports about some fo their stuff before. As far as getting it to work on Win 7 I have no idea. It says it needs dosbox and I am not even sure if that runs on Win7 64 since I have only been in this OS for a week.
Certain games make work well on consoles, but even then they seem limited. Ones I've played on console, even specifically made for consoles you start to see how much more expansive the game could of been if it had been on PC. FPSs is one that I don't think will ever be just as good as or better on consoles. As long as your playing against others on consoles your good, but the minute someone has mouse and keyboard they will be raping your ass. And games that are ported to PC after the fact. OM
Judging by the KB for size comparison it looks like it's a little shorter than my GTX260(although beefier looking overall). Definately a good thing as I have a full tower and my card still sticks up under my HDs by an inch or more. Wish they'd work at least a little on reducing the size of Gfx cards. The things are getting monstrous. Looking forward to seeing the benches on it and don't forget to include the rest of your Specs.
That's a sweet shower. I'd have to get a mega hot water heater, because I would just want to hang out in there all day :)
Drink enough south Floridians you'll be fluent in spanish in no time [e digicons][/e]
Not sure if someone fixed it or what, but it looks fine in Firefox 3.6. Edit:ahh, Po got to it first :)
I thought 3D Realms had closed up shop. Did someone else pick up the development? If so I'll say Aug, 2015 Just for the hell of it :)
I used to have a lot of problems with the forums, but not so much anymore. Still one of the slowest sites I've ever seen to initially come up(GalCiv2.com), but once here all seems good.
You might be able to go into the component manager in administrative tools. Go to disk management and see if it shows the rest as unallocated. From there you can format/partition and assign it a letter it as if it was another drive. I have to do that when I reinstall my XP cause my disk is sans service packs and will only show 131GBs upon install.
I would much rather see something that isn't kept on somebody elses server. My thought would be; thumbdrives are so small and light they could just be kept in you wallet/purse/keychain, when you want to multi-login to something like above you just plug it into the USB port of the PC you on at the time, it interfaces with the browser and bam your in with your single login. When your through you pull out your TD all info on the PC is erased immediately and your on your merry way with your info
Yea they may be fast and if you've got the extra cash more power to ya, but until they are at least somewhat competitive in size and price my PC won't be seeing one I'm afraid. With close to a TB I am scavenging for space. I couldn't imagine how much that would cost in SSDs.
My Girlfriend plays games like Animal Crossing and such, but her favorites are actually Halo series, run and gun shooters like Serious Sam and the like. It all depends on the individual. There is no set demographic IMO, different people like different games. If you want to feel slighted as a gamer and blame it on the industry being male dominated, that's a personal issue. There is enough variety in games being offered nowadays that anyone who calls themselves a gamer should be able to find so
Steam's offline mode was added after initially having none and as such does have issues and steps to follow for it to work right. Even then some report not being able to get it to work, but some of those I would say is uninformed users unaware of the procedures to start with. You have to make sure Steam has your account info saved, the game(s) in question are updated and have been ran before while online. This usually only becomes an issue if one buys a pack of games and doesn't get around to
I'm taking a wait and see attitude with most these days, but the short list... S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat Sins: Diplomacy Mass Effect 2 Keeping an eye on Elemental as well. In the Wishful thinking department... Some kind of announcement about the future of the GalCiv franchise by years end.
Been my experience that women in SUVs are the worst. Either believing they need 20 feet of clearance to back up 5 feet, or trying to backup the aforementioned 20' with having only 5' of room. Take it as chauvinistic or what have you , but I have seen it on far too many occasions.
I have to agree, the original Sims was the biggest disappointment of my gaming life(20+ years). Fell into the hype and took about two hours to figure out I was doing everything I play games to escape doing. It's been collecting dust ever since.
Hey! Did I just see who I thought I saw? ....Naaahh Couldn't of been [e digicons]8|[/e]
I preordered this game as much out of support for SD and their views on PC gaming as much as anything. I knew I wasn't going to be playing online much, it's just not some people's thing. I just happen to end up enjoying the game more than I at first thought I would. I have never played any RTS, arena style or otherwise online. Did play TFC for years, but that is a whole different ballgame. That's not to say I don't like teamplay. I had a blast with friends while using Skype and I probably wou
Multiplayer on the other hand require serious skills or it is no real fun if you do not like to get stomped. This is general problem with all mulitplayer games. The longer a game exist the higher the skill level of the regular players becomes. So there is one point where it is no longer fun for casual players to play that game online because the others are too strong.
Exactly. I am not a good player compared to most of the online crowd. I don't care about optimum builds
Yea, it's a little different if a game has no singleplayer component at all. While DG doesn't have a lot of SP content I still play it for fun once in a while and have really only taken it online to play with friends on occasion. Otherwise I'd be part of the 77% who never used the online MP.
I thought i came out gadgetless this year. Couldn't get around till today to some family due to snow. Ended up getting a 4GB thumbdrive. In itself not a big deal, but it was already loaded with over 1300 songs :) .
Heya Silver. Didn't realize you still stopped by on occasion. I had migrated to the Demigod forum for awhile, but gawd the attitudes of a MP centered community. The GC2 peeps I still think are probably the best game community I have seen so I keep finding my way back. [e digicons][/e]
Hey man. Been a long time. Glad to see you found some peace and stability. To tell you the truth I didn't remember who you were at first. The name seeker rung a bell, but wasn't till everflyer/talesin mention that it jogged my memory. We've all had our moments on here back then and probably should of just not taken ourselves or this forum so seriously. It's just a game after all and now that hardly any of us are left it seems kinda silly. I know Neilo and Motti don't frequent here much anymor
Is there or not problem with Nvidia card ?
While I agree with most of your points, I find this one a little perplexing. Is it only certain cards? I have a GTX260 ran it with graphics full and experienced no crashes with the battles. Part of the memory issues also seem to stem from being able to create too large a galaxy and running up against the 32bit 2GB limit. That's something that seems like it will be hard to solve without scaling back the available sizes.<
